Sledging or "Mental Disintergration" as it is also known is the tactic of talking to players on the opposition side (particularily batsmen, as taking on a whole team in the field is never a good idea) with the objective of destroying either their concentration or their confidence/self esteem. Sledging is practised in a large way by the Australian Cricket Team, but most International teams partake in sledging. Sledging can be merely an opposition player talking constantly to the batsman, but has mostly become known as players swearing and questioning their lineage.
Sweet! Such a great run and such a beautiful place to sail! I'm terrified of the Pitchpole! So we never end up pushing that hard! Great work guys! Had ours out for two good days a week ago for a family reunion in Lake Nabagamon Wi.
@@JoyriderTV We got pretty good at righting when we first got the H16, but then we got good at not capsizing... probably should do some practice there... ;-)

I can't imagine the freedom you'd feel sailing at 20 k with the wind in your face. Well done lads.
It's as good as you'd think it is, or better!
That was awesome! I especially like that little twitch at the end where they got dancing!!
Oh yeah - nice big gust to finish!
My God, 20 knots!! I didn't know these things could go that fast!
Yes, the Hobie 16 certainly flys!!
Fabulous footage and perspective 👍❤️
Thanks!!
Thanks for beautiful film as usually
Thanks!!
Johnny is such a bloody legend
Oh yes he is! Great guy!

Yes he does! I wonder where he gets that from.
He's been at it again, should be another one today.
Very nice to see other styles. Well done!

Nice! The pitchpole isn't so bad, as long as your capsize righting procedure is up to scratch.

@@JoyriderTV just make sure to detach the trap line as soon as you can.
Love it! What a pleasure to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Damn to be young and nimble again. Nice sailing!!! Pushing the limit. Great video!

It always amazed me how fast my Hobie 16 could go!
It's definitely a wolf in sheep's clothing!

Loved this video, great stuff!!
Yeah man - Your pitchpole king title is being challenged!
The dream. Grew up doing this. Would love one of my own. Where does one find a used Hobie 16 for cheap? Keep the good, informative content coming.
That's a great question, I will include it in the Live Q+A (1630 CET) on Friday
Keep searching. We were just gifted a Hobie 16. If you see them on a trailer on someone's property knock on the door.
Salut moi j'adore les vidéos que tu fais😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

Ed Swain on the pain train
It's the only way he knows!
I have done 15 knots speed alone without trapeze. 14 is common. 10 is normal on a 6m/s breeze. 12 knot vind.
20knot vind is to much alone.
That's cooking some good goose!
Think you’ll find Robbie’s even better at hockey than RIB driving…
I can only imagine!
Not that quick I’ve out ran many of hobies in my career GCat 5.7 baby. Hulls don’t cut the waves so
I'll have to try the Cat when I hit the US leg of the world tour.
Rigging way 2 loose
Thanks for the tip!
