    I did not know that Reasamplomatic5000 mapped the velocities like that! I'd been using a separate instance for each sample and adjusting the velocity range for each!! Gets confusing and unwieldy. This is awesome! Thanks Kenny you rockkkk!

    You're the GOAT man. Your tutorials, tone of voice and thoroughness should be a staple into tutorial making. Anyway we can help, just shout.

    I think that this snare is the one on the overture sound track

    Thank you so much Kenny!
    What if I have different drum samples for the same velocity and want ReaSamplomatic5000 to randomize between them?
    Is this something it can do? Thanks in advance :)

    Fantastic! So now how do we do round robins? :) You going to do a video on that too?

    The piano is fantastic however without implementing a sustain pedal function it is pretty much limited to boogy-woogy. I’ve tried but cannot figure a way to make it work correctly. Any ideas?

    Great info! I didn't know ReaSamplOmatic5000 could split samples by velocity. This instantly makes it an even better sample-based synth!
    By the way, I think I recognize those snare samples from EZ Drummer... XD

    Always love your videos Kenny - You know that.
    Just one thought:
    Any chance you can leave a few sentences (in video description) of what the video is really about?
    I get excited when I see a new vid of yours to come out, but then I see "Multi-Velocity Based Sampling in REAPER"
    As your voice says "Play a different sample based on how hard we hit the keys"...
    Please consider adding that type of text to your descriptions.
    Thanks!

    Could you do a video on making your own IRs in Dealer's convolution reverb plugin please?

    Really COOL!
    But, I miss the velocity/sample sound start changes.
    I mean, there should be a way for the sound to start according to the velocity.
    Harder hits, making the sound start from its very start (with all transients).
    Softer hits, the sound could start after the transients region...
    I am trying to achieve this on Reaper, but I can't find it...

      I haven't tried it, but from looking at the menus in this video, wouldn't that be the attack parameter on the left side?

    Another great video brother. My only question is- where on the net Can I find a good resource for multi sampled instruments and drums? Did you find them on redit ?

    Can you export this as a TCi file to open it in Slate Trigger 2?

    @kenny : great video ! Is there a possibility to know the velocity ranges that trigger the different samples, and maybe adjust them ?
    p.s : that snare sounds a lot like the standard EZdrummer 1 snare :)

    • @REAPERMania
      @REAPERMania  6 років тому +1

      I don't believe you can adjust them. It just divides by 127 different velocities.

    • @djabthrash
      @djabthrash 6 років тому

      @reaper mania : OK ! So i guess if i have 4 different samples, each sample occupies a range of roughly 127 / 4 = 31 different velocities ?
