To do this with a drum loop that is only one track. Would I need to splice/cut each one shot in the drum loop? Or is there a way to separate the kick, snare, hi hat, etc in the drum loop to its own midi track?
Do you find that when you do this the MIDI isn't perfectly aligned with the audio? I'm trying to tighten it up so the MIDI notes are absolutely 1:1 with the transients.

theres gotta be an easier way to add the ghost notes. manually might take hours and hours depending on the kind of music being played.
