Hello Barry, I too have made a couple of these, not as easy as it looks! I first heard of these through UA-cam, then got my hands on an interesting book written by David Springett. All sorts of interesting shapes, haven’t done many yet though. Keep up the good work.👍
Well, theres my lesson for today! I am 68 years old, and had never heard of a femisphere before! Thank you Barry! You did a fine job, as it looks well matched when you split it apart, and twisted the two halves. Thanks for sharing it with us!
Hi Barry, I had never heard of a Femishpere before this video and it is an amazing looking piece. I'm keeping this video as I will be giving this a go at some point. Take care mate. Cheers, Huw
This is terrific little project, really well executed and demonstrated. Thanks Barry. Incidentally I've come a similar sort of geometrical doodad called a sphericon - is this the same thing or is there some difference I'm completely missing?
Thanks Mark. I think they are similar but not sure of the technical difference to be honest. I have got a couple more to try (different shapes) and will probably upload another video soon. Cheers, Barry
@@BarrysWoodCreations I heard you say "Ontario U.S." and wasn't sure if you were referring to Ontario, Canada or Ontario, California, or something else?
Woodturning is fun! Thanks
