WAKEBOARD SLALOM | HOW FAST CAN I RUN THE COURSE

- As some of you may know, I've been slalom skiing a lot lately and really enjoying it.
Naturally my brain began to think - can I run the slalom course on a wakeboard, and if I can, how quickly can I do it. Plus, can I add a few flips in there too.
I think if my board had a little more rocker, I could probably go quicker.
All in al a great challenge and experiment, and maybe a whole new sport?

great idea, loved it. I used to carve a lot in wakepark before the introduction of plastic features.....Now I'd like to still do it, but you get hated by all the other riders and I am not in good enough shape to do it for long anyway ;)

Love this! Many years ago I used to run the course at 34mph (on a double boot slalom). The jump in speed from 28 to 34 was vast. 36mph was my nemesis - never got all six and the gates. Love what you're doing.

love it. Managed to run 43k on my 148 butterstick pro a few years ago in a backyard comp. started off with the 180 technique as well but without fins i ended up doing better on my toeside at higher speeds haha. Will need to up my game next time to try match you 😂.
Would love to see some slalom tutorials like you did with wakeboarding!

@@DavidOCaoimhWakeboarder If you're ever in the Midwest of the US, we'd love to give you lake and ramp access! It sounds absolutely nuts, but the true secret is "holding an edge" through the ramp, complete opposite of cable riding
