I love neuroenhancement. They never see it coming. They're always like, "Oh, this is nice. Ooh, this is better. Oh, wow! This is great! Shit! His head exploded."
I'd actually recommend that during the phase where apes are in every country, keep waiting and generating DNA. As long as you devolve every symptom, humans will never start working on a cure. Once you have around 800 DNA, you can evolve all of those transmission-boosting symptoms, and then when 2/3 of every country is infected you can quickly evolve the lethal symptoms. Waiting for more DNA means I took 2000 days to finish, but my score was 775830 and I was never in danger of losing.
You're forgetting a major detail. On mega brutal, blood tests are done regularly, people will still work on the cure and costs to devolve would increase to ungodly levels. Sadly they accounted for that sort of cheese. Works on other difficulties though!
Everyone on Earth is going blind, bleeding from every opening of the body and dying of pneumonia and meningitis. Yet they are still able to fly drones.
Neuro enhancement actually becomes insanely lethal at rank 4. The disease from the movie was made to counter stuff like dementia, so that's what it's referencing there. And it did do it but the body had a severe immune response, which in the game takes it to the extreme with total brain failure

Neuro enhancement could be good if you use it when the whole world is infected, i reccommend using hypocougablilty and total brain death aswell as internal bleeding but its risky because the whole world will become smart, meaning that you have to be a bit lucky to wipeout the whole world when the cure could be till: 50-96%.

Holy crap, this was hard. Out of all the scenarios I've had to do, this one took the longest to complete on Mega-Brutal. Sometimes it's just a literal RNG that determines whether or not you get discovered by humans early on or not, even if you lack all symptoms at the time.
