Perfect timing since I’m going to 10:00 Mass and afterwards, we’re going to a diner for my 18th birthday today! I’ll see this video immediately after finishing brunch.
In my place we have a church from the end of the 15 century, and it's beautfiul. It's also amazing for vocal music - it just reflects so good you don't even need any kind of microphones or anything. And it's also a symbol of our people standing by our faith - It has been destroyed twice and both time it was rebuilt exactly the way it looked the first time. God bless you 🙏
She saved my life once. We were going home from an orthodontist visit on a cold, snowy winter night. I was maybe 10 then, not sure exactly. Whenever we go on a very long trip, we (me and mom, dad's not very religious) pray a rosary at the beginning. This time was no different. Well, at one point, i guess the road was slippery, my dad (who was driving) lost control of the car. We were going to crash right into a pole and probably die, but... We just barely missed it. Not even a scratch. Thank you, Blessed Virgin Mary.
@@Damy-t4v How could you not even thank Jesus for saving you?? Why do Catholics keep giving the glory to the saints or to objects or to Mary, but not give the glory to God?
@RockTank22YT Sigh... When you pray to Blessed Virgin Mary or a saint, they're like a mediator between you and Christ. And it is said there's nothing Mary can't get from her Son. By giving praise to saints and Blessed Virgin Mary, we also give praise to the One they lived for, the One who gave them saintdom - a. k. a Jesus.
The Church I go to is from the late 1800s or early 1900s and it’s very beautiful despite being just a small town Ontario Church. The paintings are stunning and the stained glass is amazing. We also have some incredible statues and even shrines (one for Fatima and another for I believe the Purification of Mary as it’s the name of the Church). When I started converting I was not expecting the hick town I went to high school in to have such a big and beautiful Church. I live out in the country so having a Church like that just under 30 minutes away is awesome. Plus the priests seem super solid and passionate about true Catholic teachings. I am excited for Easter when I hope to be brought into the Church!
I think it needs to be clarified that flesh is what brings temptation, and sin. Angels are not in the flesh, but are incarnate of the soul in Salvation and do not experience temptation or sin. Jesus was the only human who, despite temptation, did not sin. The Bible says that if we were all condemned by the sin of one man (referring to Adam having betrayed God, thus the people who came after him inheriting this trait), then we can be saved by another man who is righteous--you can read about this in chapter 5 Romans. To imply any other human as sinless would render such a Gift unnecessary, but of course it is impossible for this to happen because Mary was born of the lineage of Adam and therefore was born with sin nature. Jesus was born of the lineage of GOD and therefore has no sin nature, He is perfect.
@@joshflinchbaugh5866 Quite contrary. Jesus is the most different from Adam, because Adam (and Eve) began a lineage of sin nature (which we all have because he was the first man), but Jesus did not present this trait and did not once go astray. He's the only one who did this. That's why being reborn with Jesus as our father is so important--because he allows us to join a new lineage that is saved. This is all Biblical, from Romans 5.
@@madisonlamb4836 "I think it needs to be clarified that flesh is what brings temptation, and sin. Angels are not in the flesh, but are incarnate of the soul in Salvation and do not experience temptation or sin." In the meantime, Satan...
@@Laurelin70 Were Adam not in the flesh, he would not have been tempted by Satan. Satan holds no power against a man with complete Faith in the Lord. (Psalm 91:10-12, James 2:19). The devil is a tempter, but that is all he does. He had to ask God to do anything to Job because he is really powerless! And still, Job did not ever curse God's name. The devil is known for temptation since the earliest days of man. But what causes the sin is not the devil; rather the weakness of the man being tempted. I am sure as Christians we have both denied temptation before. Does that alone not prove that the devil by himself cannot cause you to sin, otherwise you would? edit--as for what I said regarding temptation in flesh, I can explain, but it does tie back to the devil being the tempter. I ought to clarify that what makes one *weak* to temptation is the flesh. God Bless you and thank you for your time.
