    In terms of booting people off of shows, I gotta say that have a therapist as the judge is pretty clever. Also I looked it up, and she is an actual therapist so that's pretty neat.

      It would be more palatable if people weren't playing it up for the camera. Too many celebs have been created from reality TV stars these days and that's all any contestants try to be anymore. Some of the older reality TV series are a little bit more watchable because of this because it was so new.

    • @Percformysoul
      @Percformysoul 11 місяців тому

      @@fountgarde Typical reality TV shows fabricate a lot of the drama (competition shows seemingly not as much). I think what you said is definitely true and a product of the times. From the mid 2000s and earlier social media didn't really exist so it's not like people took their opportunity to be on TV or a part of a production as a means to become famous. Especially on a reality TV show where once it's over they're over. It's not their career. But once influencers became a thing and having a followers became something you could live off of people went all out.

    • @karenamyx2205
      @karenamyx2205 11 місяців тому

      Not following your logic.. this show is clearly calling out this behavior as toxic and terrible. So how exactly did this contribute to "tate butt buddies"? Tate exists because society has kinda slowly started ostracizing anything resembling traditional masculinity. When people are on the defensive, they take any port in a storm. Like him or not, Tate is the only public voice speaking TO man. Instead of treating them as evil or toxic. Its admittedly an over reach, because the guy is clearly a cartoon villain, but theres no one else reaching out. Except maybe Jordan Peterson. But oh, big suprise, hes also vilified.
      If society stop over correcting "the patriarchy" and remember men are just people too, tate and his butt pals would fade.
