Apples definitely richly valued right now, but it's hard to blame Investor's given the numbers that apple is doing and also just that brand loyalty that Apple has

People like Apple for a reason.
Android fanboys bring up Apple hate under every tech video its pathetic
Most people buy android phones because they cannot afford Apple devices
And you know that’s a fact
Poor countries like India and Pakistan etc... go for Chinese and Korean phones not because android is an open source and has more freedom but simply because it’s cheaper and there’s nothing wrong with that there’s also nothing wrong with liking Apple products

@@giovannibarrera1534 people go cheaper iPhones because people like cheaper stuff with reliability and long-term use and good selling value and yes, looks as well.
The Apple logo means all if those things to some people.
Now, why do Android users feel the need to bash them for their choice? Im not sure but i I think it’s because they’re generally salty.
Since when did wanting to look cooler or more accepted in society become a bad thing?!
Guess what its not bad and its completely natural
So with an iPhone you get long-term reliability (much longer than android phones) good selling value and you can be socially more accepted (this totally depends on your environment)? Count me in.

People just don't seem to understand that Apple only ever focuses on making products that are just good, not first, not always groundbreaking, just good, reliable and user friendly, as long as they always do that, people will always feel comfortable using their products, I have 2 Mac's over 10 years old that still work, a new MacBook that is super fast, a 2019 iPhone that still gets full support and an iPad that I know I won't need to replace for a very long time, reliability is important to me and that's why I have bought Apple for over a decade now

Don't forget the were able to change the accounting rules. Apple was suppose to split up their sale of an iPhone, and other apple products that have software upgrades, into chunks over a period of two years. This is due to the promise by Apple that they will provide upgrades to its OS for a period of 2 years for each product sold. So Apple argued that they should be able to realize it's revenue from day 1, not split into 24 months.
So on the accounting sheets, you'll see a huge jump in revenue, hence the huge jump in profit, and a huge jump in stock price. I am not sure if the other smart phone makers get this same treatment though. But for sure it was Apple that changed the rules of accounting, which gave it's first huge push in stock price

You'd have a cool $1million if the stock had never split, but your ~80,000 units of stock would have multiplied to 18 million units of stock after apples five stock splits, making your $10k investment worth ~$2 billion

The Stock has Split 5 Times, overall you would have 224 Shares today if you had bought them at the IPO. The Share Price back then was 22$.
So with an investment of 10‘000$ at a price today of 112$, your return would be around 11,2 Million Dollars not 2 Billion.

Of course, there wasn’t a million coins so this investment is purely theoretical. No it’s not.
A companies value is determined by the market (by the people who buy and sell that stock) and the decision of those people to buy or not is determined my the companies performance.
Apple’s profits in 2019 were $13 billion. That was (at the time) 1.3% of the value of the company.
For context Amazon did $3.3 billion in profit in 2019 and thats (at the time) 0.3% of the value of the company.
If you don’t understand how business works please don’t comment about it.

The Mac market share grew as the PC market share fell, the iPhone surpassed Android, the iPad has always been the dominant tablet, the Apple Watch remains the most popular smart watch, Apple has always released products that just perform well, they've never focused on being first, they focused on just making products that work really well and most importantly, work well with their other products and that's why they've succeeded

Every time Tim Cook says "It's the most advanced iPhone we've ever created!!!" I roll my eyes from front to back and back to front.
Like you're going to release a new flagship phone and say, "it's about the same as last year's phone, but oh well..."
OBVIOUSLY, people know it's an upgrade from the previous year. What people want to know is how BIG of a step that upgrade is.

@@user-zf5eu1xt7d I think they've already understood what's left to do, and are just slowly putting these features out, so that they can slowly milk more phone upgrades. Honestly, if i weren't someone working with media, there's absolutely no need for me to upgrade to the iphone 15 pro. It's great that apple has chips that are more efficient, faster, and cheaper than anything that Intel can produce. But ask the average person, why would they need a computer/phone to have so much computing power?

This doesn’t capture the overall market conditions. Yes, Apple has outperformed but it’s almost always done that except for a few times mentioned here. And during those previous overperformances, it hasn’t gone up in value like it has now.
The reason mega cap tech companies are so valuable and desired stocks now is because: 1) they’re performing but also 2) there’s no better alternatives to put a lot of cash to wait out the current recession. In essence, they’re default choices for a lot of investors apart from the value the companies actually have as businesses.

I don't see the current share price as fair.
The company has a great business model but when it comes to services (productivity or entertainment) on my iPhone its either Google or Microsoft that excel there by a huge margin. If you own an android phone the services even get better as the eco-system is Google's (example is Assistant on Android is excellent compared to iPhones which is a laughable version). I think Apple needs to innovate and lately they are following android rather than the opposite. The only edge that they have now is in their hardware design which Google is going to close in a few years and then what will Apple stand out from the rest of the market for?
