- Our radar breaks down and we decide to upgrade to a Raymarine Quantum radome. An installation in paridise.
We cruise extensively along the East Australian Coast on our 13 meter catamaran. Join us as we explore new cruising grounds, cross bars, fix all kinds of problems, ride out rough weather and live aboard for extended periods.
We even have a playlist that gets us on other peoples boats.
We hope that our videos encourage others to get on board and experience this fantastic lifestyle.

Getting that cable through like you did means you should have gone and bought a lottery ticket. Thanks for the video Norm.
Yep. I should have. It was a pretty tight fit Dude.
We love ours as well
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Danke Dude Danke
Looks good
And works extremely well.
Great Radar. I installed the same one at Christmas time. Fantastic bit of kit. Expensive though.
Yep..but a big step up from the old Furuno.
Awesome video.
Thanks for watching Dude.
You mentioned you put a wrap over the dome to help prevent deterioration. What is the wrap material you used? Maybe another video topic? 😊
Yeah Dude.
Sorry I didn't explain very well. I just put loom wrap over exposed cables to stop uv damage.
Thanks for comment
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes is ah right. Got ha. Thank you
Does it overlay onto chart
It can, but I prefer to use it as a stand-alone display.
@@MotorSailingforOldDudes used mine on overlay to check how far off the chart was when close to fixed objects which made it more comfortable when entering new areas etc. Nice system you have
good work.. $ how much?
About 2.5k Dude.
