I came from a MOBA game in mobile, started almost a month ago. This was the first channel that caters fun decks that is cool in its own and manage to win me some games. This was one of my go-to entertainment ever since the pandemic made me "lost" my job. I cannot watch streams due to limited data that I could afford per day. I'd love to see your approach to a deck built around Ursine Spiritwalker. I've tried mixing him with Tarkaz and it feels very promising (and fun!), but I think there's a lot of untapped potential there :D

You explaining cards to me helps me learn what cards the opponent also plans on using. The combos that you have shown me help me learn the possible cards that the opponent has in his/her hand. Your deck techs provide me many lessons that I could not learn elsewhere as easily as you can explain it. Thank you for everything Mogwai and keep up the good work, I like seeing the old decks get updated with your new ideas to build on top of them.

The deck tech portion of your videos is in my opinion the factor that differetiates you between other LoR youtubers. The jokes, tips and the all mighty smile "and I'll see ya tomorrow" is really thriving. Not only it helps newer players understand the deck better, it also gives them a good general idea of how the game works, making them better players. Keep up the good content!
Also I know that you already mentionned wanting to build one in the past, but I would love to see a tortured prodigy deck. The card is so interesting and after seeing your casino deck (which became my fav deck instantly btw), I would be really interested by the concept you will come off with this crazy card.

It's a bit late, but personally I love the deck techs. I find that learning the intricacies of a well polished deck is incredibly interesting, and actually helps me to brew and play better. It also helps even more when I'm planning on taking the deck for a spin myself! Keep doing what you've been doing so far man, your channel for me is one of the best UA-cam has to offer when it comes to LoR and MtG!

Please make a deck with Tryndamere! You can do the same idea you did with anivia. When the ephemeral tryndamere dies, it levels up!

I tried to make tryndamere ephemeral but he still has that ephemeral after level up. Its because he leveled up instead of dying so he still has ephemeral.

First time commenting on you channel since I've started watching all your vids since 'Rising Tides' came out. Gotta say, this is my favorite deck till now. I'm having a blast of a time playing it. I made slight adjustments and added two of crimson disciples and imperial demolisionists each and they really serve as great blockers as well as leveling up Swain and chipping the opponent's nexus. Anyway, thanks for the constant flow of great contants.
How about a deck called "Pure Love"
Featuring Ezreal and Lux ? Also purify ? As it counts towards Ezreal level up ?
An Ez Lux deck could be really interresting imo. Even if i though they are both counter-productive. As we often using a one 6-mana spell to level up Lux, but use many cheap spell for Ez.
But i would love to see Mogwai make me wrong. :)
Eh it’s not that counter productive, considering cheap spells help both lux and ez level up. Lux’s 0 cost spell also activated ezreal’s ability

Imo a "Pure love" deck could be garen&Katarina, constantly rallying and doing 3 attacks on the enemy's turn or something like that

as a sugestion for a deck idea:
maybe try a ezreal/fizz deck, they both have a spell amount level up, so maybe you could do some synergie magic :)

Love your videos and deck techs, I also really like your streams to see how you initially build the decks and your thoughts behind it.
There's a couple decks I'd really like to see:
- Fizz and Teemo, I think they could synergise with the mushroom clouds being able to protect Fizz.
- Fizz and Draven. With Fizz's ability you don't need as much health protection and can use Draven's axes or other burst speed spells to help him survive
- Anivia and Gangplank control. Found it super fun when you can get Anivia, leveled up Gangplank and Dreadway on the board
Can we get a Zed Lucian deck? Even though it uses Ionia and Demacia it’s, still a really fun champion combination and is pretty meta as well.
Zed lucian with dawnspeakers is pretty legit

I respect Mowgli a lot for getting me into this game but let’s be honest here, this game is a fricking masterpiece. After becoming disillusioned with the enormous pay to win side of hearthstone and not being able to enjoy the bullshittery of that anymore I watched one of his videos and instantly fell in love with LOR, I play maybe an hour a day and feel rewarded, wildcards and the gem things are easy to come across and there isn’t a single deck that is unbeatable. Congrats riot, you’ve made a fan of me.

I've seen videos and streams for all these 4 decks, I've seen them play and I love all 4 of them because I love Swain and I love the other 4 champions so Im looking for the most optimal choice TBH

To keep it short, it's the Twisted Fate version, just because Swain benefits so much from red card 😄
It depends on the match up and what's popular on ladder at the time.
It seems like the swain/Yas one is doing pretty good right now with 53.9%win rate with 6700 matches.
Swain twisted fate has a 55. 6% win rate but with only 4,059 matches.
Yasuo swain loses hard to aggro, wouldnt suggest. Imo this ezreal swain deck looks legit

None of those. Sejuani Swain is best. 1 ember maiden levels up Swain on curve and Sej is OP, she clears the way for fearsome Swain.
I love your deck techs and it has set the bar to other streamers for me. You do them with such passion and personality and I love the combinations you come up with. As I bit of feedback I will suggest this, at the start of some matches you're talking about the previous match in the stream, which you didn't upload. It would be nice to have a caption to mouse over which explains briefly what happened in that match.

Really love your deck techs because of how informative and passionate you are while expressing the purpose of each card in the deck you're playing. It's always fun just seeing you enjoy the game cause it kind of mirrors my own passion and enjoyment of the game.
As a deck concept idea, I was wondering if you could develop a deck based on the plunder effect of tuskraider. I found that this actually becomes really solid when combined with the likes of smooth soloist from bilgewater, but in general I don't see a lot of people trying to make tuskraider, so if you find a better combination I would love to see it.

I started playing Yu-Gi-Oh way back. I loved the cards game concept.
Moved to MTG and hearthstone, and when LOR came out I got really hooked with the deep mechanics it presented.
I tried to make an ash sejuani with noxus build that capitilzed on an open attack when l enemies are frozen.
I had some real fun :)

As for the deck suggestion, I'd love to see an unorthodox version of Naut deep other than the standard ones on ladder.

Someone on reddit called mogwai the king of tier 3 decks and it do be like that. He's creative as fuck and a master of deck building. I remember, I think it was still beta back then, and he took Lux Thresh to a tournament and that list was so tuned to beat the meta at the time that it even saw ladder success or more ladder success than most of the other decks he posts. Also, the guy is super nice and fun to listen to. You learn a lot simply by watching him and watching how he plays around all the meta decks. Man's a treasure and I hope he never leaves LoR. I loved back then in Gwent beta (when it was actually good and fun to play pre midwinter patch) and I love him now.

Hey mogwai I really like your videos and I would be happy to see you showcase a deck revolving around Ren Shadowblade since I've never actually seen anyone use this card besides me lol. It's quite the unique feeling seeing your opponent surrender the moment you drop it and then realizing there's not much they can do about it.

I was a free to play diamond mtg arena player originally, and now I've been playing Legends and just focusing on building up my card collection which has been really fun.
I Know you probably have plenty of decks you plan on making but I was wondering if you’ve experimented with Shen and miss fortune, spirit’s refuge with miss fortune means you heal from love tap and Shen is great with the vulnerable mechanic, I’m sure you can come up with an amazing deck with that concept, keep up the amazing work!

I would adore seeing your take on a Swain and Anivia deck.
It's not one that you'd see normally, and it would probably work better with Ashe or Sejuani, and... hell it's not even Swain's best pairing... but it's really fun.
I have a really... rough version of the deck I'm playing now, but I'm too nervous to take it on ladder. I basically took a crimson core and put Swain and Anivia in it instead of Vlad. The idea being that with enough combat tricks and frostbites you can just clear a path for Swain to walk directly into the nexus. Omen Hawk and Hearthguard for deck buffing, plenty of Take Hearts and Iron Pots for combat tricks. Unfortunately, I'm not good enough at deckbuilding to make this work better than I have it right now, which is part of why I'd love to see your take on the pair of champs. I think I need more frostbites, but I'm honestly not sure.

Mog seeing the Jinx Slotbot deck from a few days ago might have been one of the most interesting decks you have ever come up with and it was an absolute blast to see you play. Are there any other types of decks you could make that have really high skill caps? Seeing you really have to focus on a play is always very cool to watch.
Very nice to see swain and ezreal, love swain and i think ez is a realy nice champ as well. And im trying to fit ez in a few different regions like ez with lux or ez with bilgewater. I love these deck builder videos and i always try to play these decks after seeing this cus they look so good. Hope to see an ezreal bilgewater deck in the future:) keep it up!
I’ve got a few deck concepts, Vi with Draven’s whirling death to deal extra 5 damage to nexus, A teemo and fizz deck, and a deck that uses smooth soloist somehow
Deck ideas I wanted to try, but I mostly play Expeditions, and you'd do a better job of it anyway: 1. making an Insightful Investigator deck. 2. Ephemeral Maokai (possibly with Hecarim). 3. Yoink Purrsuit deck. 4. Vi strike deck (w/ Noxus or Demacia). 5. A proper "Fishbones" deck (talking about the Expedition archetype - Jinx + Fizz). 6. Try to resurrect Warmother's Call? Maybe with Sea Monsters? That's all I can think of atm. Love your deck techs!

It'd be cool to see what you can do with Counterfeit Copies (sp?) / Parade Electrorig. Maybe not both, since the rig is kind of weak, but I'd like to see the concept of putting more copies of a specific card into your deck payoff. Can you make the meme dream real? If anyone can do it, it's you!

It seems that the deck would definitely be a control build, with a heavy spell density, in any case. But I could be wrong!

I know it's not a champion that inspires the most ideas, but would be nice to see some kind of a cool concept deck with Darius and bilgewater/shadow isles.

Yo Mogwai, i have been following you just before the rising tides expansion. i have been a league player for 8 years and was looking for something new. but still connexted to the League Lore and landed on LOR, been playing it ever since the beta was released.
Your contend have given me a good amount of knowledge around the game and thought process behind certain plays, thank you allot for that.
as for deck consepts, i have been having fun with one of the lesser seen cards from the shadow Isles. Posession. it works really well to kill the enemy strongest unit and maybe even punch them with it. i run it with glimps beyond, chronicol of ruin, Mist's call, Mark of the isles and other kill cards to kill them and in some cases revive it to make it your own.
i combined it with Demacia, for Detain and Unyielding spirit (even tho it is a broken card and no fun to play).
could you give some love to it? or make a deck around the card Posession? it would be great.

I would love to see a deck around "Smooth Soloist" someday. Never seen her that much. As well as "Strong Arm", seems really interesting. "Ursine Spiritwalker" and "Armored Tuskraider" are some that could use your magic in deckbuilding.

Hey Mogwai, I've been trying to build this deck for a while and I can't quite get it to work. The idea is combining Lee Sin with Freljord to give him access to buffs from omen hawk and starlight seer along with fury of the north and battle fury for big nexus strikes, plus using frostbite means you don't need the 2 spells in a turn to protect him. I've tried with ashe to help with the frostbite synergy but I don't know if I'm being overly ambitious. Thanks for your time and all of the great decks and videos man, keep em coming
I have made a deck comprised of Heimer and Ashe with some yeti back up, and I would like to see your take on it. It's extremely easy to get elusive and overwhelm turrets with the frostbite spells, and elixer of iron is a great way to keep Heimer alive. This deck is my favorite Piltover/Freljord deck and I hope you can make something similar. Love what you do and please never stop.
Funnily enough the deck techs are *why* I watch these videos. And maybe its just because ive only been playing for about a month but often times I wont watch all of the gameplay, but I make sure to click for the deck techs even if I dont like the champions
This might just be my favorite deck so far, and I've seen them all! Swain is my favorite champion to play and this is such a unique combination for him. He is usually stuck with the same champ pairings like Sejuani, which is a good combo but it's nice to have something new. Thank you!

I have this Nox/Ionia burn/tempo deck that runs Kat, Darius, and Swain focusing on overhead damage to level Swain and Darius, with Stuns to make good use of Katarina, Battering Ram, and Darius as a finisher. It’s pretty fun, but would love to see your take on that style of deck.

since she came out in LoL I love quinn. Came to LoR and also love her design and card as a champion. I know you’ve revently build the quinn shen deck but i would love to see more quinn. I've been trying to make Unyielding Spirit with Gangplank Kegs work for a while, but Bilgewater with Demacia is hard to survive long enough to get it going. If you could work your magic and try something out with that, I'd love to see it.
