Great video...i've been playing COD Mobile for 3 or 4 years now...and its always been this way...in CODM the're called Lucky Draws...and there are even more expensive ones that come with a mythic tier gun...which after are u get it (usually after getting the entire draw)...you have to level it up by purchasing mythic level up cards...which are also in a "draw"...bringing the entire thing to maybe 200.00 dollars U.S....crazy huh?
This kind of predatory monetization is what Krafton was (and still is) doing with PUBG on PC, and that's why I quit playing PUBG. Taking a stand on it punishes nobody but myself, but so it goes.
like someone said in the comments, CODM has been doing this for years and CODM youtubers have been spending CP on draws like this (or they get them for free from codm) and normal players have been spending money on them too, but it's not as bad as WZM considering codm doubles the amount of CP you need to use and is more consistent (15 goes to 30 goes to 60 and on, sometimes there's discounts if you're lucky)

Stopped spending on CoD Mobile because of these greedy practice and thank goodness Warzone Mobile launch was a flop that steered me away from it completely. At least the codm legendaries and mythics have a lot going on for them that at least justifies the price for the pixels. They’re all unique and have their themes that anyone can like. Even some epic blueprints include custom iron sights which make them just as valuable as the higher rarity guns. Unlike any blueprints I see from mainline games that just look plain and once adjusted look even worse. Codm even gives you a “keep default look” button if something does get changed and isn’t to your liking.
They saw that Tencent did get away with it in CoD mobile (at least it had this in the first year afaik) and got envy. So they also implemented it. Classic mobile game money printing

I just don't understand what they are thinking with these gatcha lucky draws? All the items in them only work in Warzone Mobile and don't even work in MW3/Regular Warzone. Why buy the Keep draws when you can just spend CP on a store bundle and it works in all the games? It's more cost effective to spend you money on the battlepass or bundles than the keep.

The reason of the bots is there is not much ppl playing so they don't have enough player base to fill the game The reason why they made exclusive wzm skins and stuff like that, is only to implement gambling and lucky draws like codm they thought abt it and found out if they released wzm that have cross progression then they can't add lucky draws (they wanted to add p2w guns like codm to encourage ppl to spend money) cz pc and console players that paid for the game would be mad and this could kill the main game so they separated the skins by "wzm exclusive" all what they wanted was money they don't care abt anything but money, screw the game just add skins and more skins if u cannot fix the game just add skins, when the game failed they paid CCs to blame the community the big CCs are paid cz the way they did apex when it was released is completely different from wzm, for example in iferg stream the game was unplayable so he blamed the ipad 💀 which is ths highest end device that can run the game 😂 but he salyed apex and said it was unplayable and threatened to quit the game when it was way better than current wzm

Same thing about 10 items one will be the mythic or legendary gun one will be the an epic operator skin, the other items all trash, u might be get a nice throwable. Codm is even more deceiving, draws for mythic and legendary can start at 1cp and go all the way to 14k cp. But as someone who’s bought 6 mythic and 16 legendary guns in codm I can say the codm skins are 10000x better. I know it’s still all pixels but codm gun skins are beautiful and packed with features.
Cross progression, the biggest selling point and its biggest draw-back, sacrificing optimization for other players in favor of using iw9 to make it possible, proved that they no longer needed lucky draws like this, but money hungry activision saw other games do it and hopped on the trend 🤦🏻

Gambling mechanics like this need to be illegal everywhere imo. The skins don’t even look remotely good, I don’t know about you but I prefer my gun to actually look like a gun in this game
This might be a controversal opinion but i think COD Warzone mobile is being very generous for a mobile game. I mean no ADS and you get free CP through the battlepass which you can eventually save up if you really want operators and skins. But there's other games where you can't even get skins without spending money like fortnite, roblox, etc. I mean Roblox is far worse than COD in terms of cash grabs, and the majority of the player base is kids. They got kids spending hundreds of dollars a month on avatars, pets, and gamepasses in simulator cash grab games

I'm sure there must be a way of making them better without being too good but from my experience when it's been tried in codm it was horrible. This might be a controversal opinion but i think COD Warzone mobile is being very generous for a mobile game. I mean no ADS and you get free CP through the battlepass which you can eventually save up if you really want operators and skins. But there's other games where you can't even get skins without spending money like fortnite, roblox, etc. I mean Roblox is far worse than COD in terms of cash grabs, and the majority of the player base is kids. They got kids spending hundreds of dollars a month on avatars, pets, and gamepasses in simulator cash grab games
Your 100% right mate this is a scam, a fiver would seem a rip-off, skins in first person are a waste the only time you see yours during a game is in a killcam when your dying or get an execution, I've never bought cod points and never will. Great vid

Of course not, but taking advantage of people with poor decision making skills like "hey this is only 40 cod points for this cool skin" isn't ok. Just because you can make the sensible decision doesn't mean everyone can, and things designed to trick people should be stopped

And mythic characters 18000cp and upgrade 26000cp so for mobile game Call of Duty has been expensive for years

Just play Bloodstrike. Which is 1000 times better, has better maps, smoother gameplay, more exciting and don't turn your device into a nuke due to overheating 😂 also when you do a draw in Bloodstrike the price remains the same each time an does not go up.
1000 times worse and it has this trash lucky draw system and worse feeling gameplay with only 3 mid maps and a couple of mid multiplayer modes and a crappy clone of the Warzone Rebirth map and then normal BR.
Trust me you dont want better bots. Cod mobile turned their bots up and they became better than pros! They dont seem to be able to find a happy medium
Better bots doesn't mean more difficult, just more lifelike. Them making more convincing mistakes would be better too!
@GeekyPastimes trust me they've already done it with codm and the bots were absolutely cracked. They don't make mistakes, it's not like playing a person. I'm sure there must be a way of making them better without being too good but from my experience when it's been tried in codm it was horrible. I promise you they are better like this, it's like playing hackers when they turn them up

I'll be honest it really kind of ticks me off how much more effort and time is put into mobile Vs the main game. We get so much less in regards to visuals and mini cut scenes.

I don't really play enough mobile games to know. I've seen stuff like this in those stupid farmville/clash of clans type things, for some reaosn I thought Warzone would just be monetised the same way it is on other platforms

Guessing a lot of you are new to the mobile scene. Lots of mobile games use this same exact model. In codm same thing Mythic draws can cost up to $150 dollars and legendary draws like $50. Same thing about 10 items one will be the mythic or legendary gun one will be the an epic operator skin, the other items all trash, u might be get a nice throwable. Codm is even more deceiving, draws for mythic and legendary can start at 1cp and go all the way to 14k cp. But as someone who’s bought 6 mythic and 16 legendary guns in codm I can say the codm skins are 10000x better. I know it’s still all pixels but codm gun skins are beautiful and packed with features.
I am new, I hardly ever bother with mobile games, and this puts me right off
