I remember one Saturday show during this feud, K evin Sullivan brings out a huge trophy he says he won at a bodybuilding tournament, and Dundee comes out with a baseball bat and destroys the trophy.
Seth Holmes back then is was about crowd psychology and Wrestling not about how highspots, chair shots and how many tables are destroyed. Its how to work a match and no 10 minute promos that are scripted. Sports entertainment is pure BULLSHIT imho.
this isn't the 6 star match. The 6 star match was 05/26/81, the end of the match is shown in the first clip here: ua-cam.com/video/LchQZLNgG58/v-deo.html
Memphis was definitely a hotbed back in the day for pro wrestling!
Great match! :D

Where is Lance? Like jimmy Hart said "I had to use NoDoz...." listening to that commentator.
@CombatSportFan Remember when Sullivan used his "satanic/devil worship" gimmick- along with (the late) then-future Nancy Benoit as the Fallen Angel?
Seems odd to see Sullivan and Honky Tonk Man team up. Even more so that Sullivan is managed by Jimmy Hart.
So, this was rated as a 6 star match?
I don't get it.
But damn was Kevin Sullivan ripped back in the day.
