This video shows you how to clean your cars rubber floor mats. These mats came off a 2012 Honda Accord. The floor mats were very dirty and haven't been cleaned in awhile. This technique works very good for this scenario.

This is just what I needed. Most mat cleaning videos use a black mat, and therefore doesn’t show technique and cleaner neededfor serious stains on the tan color. We’re going to try this today, thank you!!

Yes, it mostly did :). I have a few very dark stains that did not come up no matter how much we worked on it. But more than anything, the scotch brite scrubbing pad made a huge difference. So, they’re not spotless but they do look great. Thanks for the tips!

Mary Cole just did mine , they’re almost the same as in the video except mine are from a civic of that era .i used purple power a hard bristle brush ,and a brass bristle brush .thay came out hella decent for junkyard mats but yea lol you said not spotless .im going to try to spot clean the stains with actual tire cleaner this weekend .

You could have used a bit of water to agitate. It really would've helped lift the dirt better

Uses gentle boars hair detail brush to scrub ground in grime. lol

The brush was very inexpensive (only about 5 dollars) I use it for both wheels and floor mats. Cleaned dozens without issue. Thanks for watching.
