  • This is the first time Tyler, from @CampKitchen have been out camping together. We went out to explore a lake and river system that has one of the most beautiful swimming holes you could ever imagine.
Along the way we explore an abandoned cabin that is said to be haunted and check out a few faded pictographs. We also try out some of the meals that Tyler has been working on for the past few months while recovering from a knee injury.
We try Bannana/Blueberry/Pecan Oatmeal, Red Thai Curry with Chicken and Shrimp and Beef Chili Mac and Cheese. Let me know what you think of the food and if you have any suggestions of other meals we should try out.
You'll find Tyler hear on his channel. ‪@CAMP_KITCH‬

    * I think only Chef Tyler @CampKitchen can appreciate how stoked I am about this video. I’ve been watching his videos where he prepared all of these meals👍🏻😊

Meal suggestions (frome a backpacking chef) : Shepherd's Pie. Vegetarian black bean chili. Soup base for fish (everything for a fish stew minus the fish which the explorer catches. ) Salmon jerky and beef jerky. Sliced fruit.
Do you both own freeze dryers? I have been dehydrating backpacking meals for 4 decades and continue to do. I wish I had a freeze drier! Great video and the food is top shelf!

another great trip at another awesome area. I always wondered how Chinese style beef and broccoli would freeze dry or dehydrate to experience the 'velveting' technique. Chef Tyler should definitely market his recipes. I've eaten a lot of freeze-dried meals in my time and those all looked better than anything I've had before.
