@@ArbourLures sorry mate, not what I meant. The painter's tape to keep the clay out of the carved details was brilliant! Fish won't even care about that tad bit of paint peeling off. I'm presently working on a lure that requires a good deal of masking, so I clear-coated over the base layer of paint. This way, when I put all the tape on it, there should be no peeling when it's pulled off... hopefully.
Hi are you referencing what the mould was filled with? It is a 2 part polyurethane casting resin. has a 2 minute working time and 15 minute demould time.

Oh hahaha yeah that clay I have is some sticky stuff. I didn't want to picking it out of the carvings.
