- In this lure making tutorial, I'm recreating the most succesfull lure used, during my recent Maledives holiday. It was great sinking stickbait for tuna fishing from the shore. I'm showing how to construct strong thrue wire harness, pour the internal weight and cast the lure out of polyurethane resin. The fight with the biggest tuna of the trip is also included. Thanks Mate 💪 all is good slowly moving to a new apartment, finally will have my shop in the house 😎 the old basement got flooded a few times and is so damp that no chance for any woodworking, therefore I'm only doing some non wood lures in the meanwhile to keep the channel alive 👍

Thanks Lee 🙂 it also shows the lure action is more important then the appearance 😉 unless it was looking like very harm bait fish🤒🤕 so they were even more convinced about attacking 🤔

Hi, Rafal! For some reason, even though I'm a longtime subscriber to your channel, UA-cam hasn't been featuring new Such a Jerk videos on my screen when you post them. In any event, I'm really glad I saw this one, which is terrific. I still think you and I are among VERY few amateur lure makers who use double crimps for our internal wire harnesses and curved nail scissors for cutting out our patterns. These components make life MUCH easier.
I'm so pleased that you return the Maldives when you can and that you've pretty much figured out the fishing there. Being able to take a wide range of species from shore is both exciting and rewarding. I've done somewhat the same thing in the Out Islands of the Bahamas. All the best, Chris (Maine, USA)
Ho Chris 👋 good to hear from you 🙂 haha curved scissors were my go to for the detailed cut outs of aluminium foil long time now. I'm happy you found the video, sorry for lack of posts but my current workshop in the basement was flooded several times last year due to heavy rain storms and is so dump I can't do any woodwork there, so mostly making resin lures now. I do hope the bank finally will issue the mortgage (some paperwork issues and delays last few weeks) and we get the keys to our new apartment next week, so I can start organising my new workshop (in the house this time 😍) once done, I can go back to more wooden lures and more YT uploads 👍 all the best from Poland 👋🎣 take care and tide lines

Por cierto, que polvo blanco es el que mezclas con la resina.
Se llama micro balloon y son pequeñas bolitas de vidrio🫧, vacias así qué aumentan la flotabilidad del señuelo 🐟🎣

@@slodziaksos no teoretycznie to się da robić tańsze niż ze sklepu, ale potem człowiek kupuje i kupuje nowe składniki, farbki, dodatki, narzędzia 😅 no ale teraz na szczęście YouTubowa wypłata wystarcza na te rzeczy więc przynęty, kosztują mnie tylko czas 🙂

Narazie myślę głównie o stickbajtach. I to w rozmiarze średnim. 9-12-15 cm. Kilka foremek z silikonu formierskiego. Aerograf. Kompresorek lodówkowy ,suszarka powstanie w garażu oczywiście koszty będą. Ale patrzę w ten sposób. Mosze zebrać pudełka przynęt. 1 sztuka to około 25-30 euro. Trzeba ze 30-50 sztuk. Coś na zapas jeszcze. A to już grube setki jak nie i tysiące euro euro się robią.

Thanks 🙂 yesterday was the opening of the Zander season, so I went this evening for the first time this year, no fish activity, but at 22:00 I managed to hook a very good one, crazy fight on the strong current , despite 3m 15-50g rod... Finally I managed to sort of stick him in the net, but the front treble got caught on the rim of the net and the fish escaped 😭 I think around 80cm... would be by big margin my new PB 😭
