Thank you so much for showing me how to do this. I seriously dont remember beinn taught this in school so ive had situations come up where ive been relaky embarrassed because I got the change incorrect. Thank you for your kindness and posting this video! Helps so much!:)
Aww!!! That was so helpful! 🎉 I only had to work a register a few times at fundraiser stuff for my parents' hobbies, but as a VERY shy and math-troubled teen, it was my own personal nightmare. Yes, I'm sure I went through a segment on counting change in elementary school, but honestly, I think it only involved adding proper currency to make the correct target amount. So when I was suddenly thrown to the wolves to make change, I was as clumsy as could be about it! 🤦♀️ THANK YOU for acknowledging that some people just are pests (here's looking at you, ornery older guy who ordered a bratwurst in German just to fluster me more. 😠) I wish I'd had a chance to watch this first; it's a way better technique than whatever lame thing I came up with!
This helped a lot thank you so much, I get really bad social anxiety and was never taught this, I’m bad at math in my head and get flustered and my brain stops working, I start my new job tomorrow so thank you!

I think they teach counting money in elementary, but my high schoolers are entering the workplace, and they haven’t been taught this.
