some VERY recommended tips! Do not use eco earth for your geckos, it can impact them if digested, also it is too humid and if it is dried out it can still hurt your geckos, also cohabitating has no benefits other than for your entertainment. and lastly, you need to put a calcium dish, get more hides because 2 is not enough (plus your humid hide is on the warm side and not in the middle which it should be) at least 3 for the humid, cool, and warm and then you also need a basking spot (yes i understand this was 3 years ago but still)

Hey, i noticed that the tank is pretty wet when you put the geckos in. If the tank is too moist, the geckos could be unhealthy. If you just let the dirt dry, they should be fine!
when they said that they really liked that substrate they meant just for the moist hide and you should only spray it down like once every two days just put paper towels down and it's original home if it can eat good on loose substrate then you can but I would recommend paper towels be careful on the way I could just make sure you put a smaller hide because they don't like to be open and a lot of areas I'm saying this because I don't want your leopard geckos getting harmed her or just not cared properly I currently have a leopard gecko right now and I we did our research like crazy so I'm just saying this I hope you see this if you agree with me comment down below and like 👍
Exactly. They have to be both female and a 40-60 gallon enclosure at least, they'd fight over a Hotspot if there's one. I still don't recommend this unless you're an expert and always watch them. They also don't "cuddle", they compete for heat
From one gecko owner to another: that tank is wayyyy too large and way too bare. The water dish is also way too big. The humidity is going to be through the roof. You need to let the eco earth dry out first!! Also, where’s the calcium dish?? I don’t think your “hour of research” was enough my guy.
Note that eco earth alone is too loose for the type of feet LG’s have. They have claws, they climb rocky structures very easily, and the soil they inhabit is packed down. Point is, eco earth is the wrong texture for the entire cage. It would be like you walking on beach sand all day. You can mix in some playsand, that helps bind it. But even doing that, the gecko would benefit from some rock texture as well. Slate slabs stacked with slate rocks as spacers make great caves. You can do 2 or 3 levels, use silicone to adhere the rocks. Then some overhead infrared bulb and you have a killer, usable setup that gives the gecko more choices. You can also use a tile floor or laminate flooring. The new textured waterproof laminate is great. But again, a vertical structure is a must. Some people make them from foam and grout or plaster.
''they like moisture'' im dead haha but no they should not be housed on eco earth that helps keep humidity up these are a desert animal not tropical animals.
I use eco Earth and if you have a good balance humidity shouldn't be a problem. If it has a little bit of moisture in it then it will stay around 30% and it won't be too dusty.
yes do a vid of a enclousure of the eggs and what do you give your geckos like vitamines so they get healthy i have a leopard gecko but his tail wont ghet thick i dont know what to do i hope you can give tips
One hour of research is great 👍. Btw they live in arid deserts. So no they don't like it moist they like it dry. AND they went right into they're hides because they have sensitive skin and eyes. Which means a uvb should only be 2.5% to 5%
Please separate them, the female is scared. She wanted to go in the big hide. Leopard gecko talk, she will show you what you need, please please separate them please.
