Wish I could go to a place like that, I just love gothic scenery... there's something beautiful about and I cannot explain this. Cemeteries, castles, woods, autumn, and the coldness, there's something beautiful about it.
Ever wonder why so many have an interest in things such as this--Gothic imagery? It's curious that we humans find this more intriguing than a sunny homestead.

My stepdad worked at a graveyard and was there years.... until a Spirit started messing with him. No joke. Reminds me of what you use to do as he would deal with them daily bringing bodies for the ceremonies etc.
I always have the most beautiful and weirdest dreams but I listen to this while falling asleep.

The man stood outside the enormous ruined castle in the blowing wind, feeling the cold bite into his skin, but he didn't dare to move, as he was too stunned by the horrifying aura the castle had around itself. His lips quivered and his legs shivered as he observed the castle; the pillars stood tall and strong but were blunt from the tops. The long slender windows had no glass, as it looked like it from the abnormal yellow moonlight. Even the moon was strange that night.
In the sky, dark clouds moved and concealed the moon a little. The forest around the man was quiet; too quiet for a forest. The night had what you would call a silence that you cannot stand. Just the blowing wind made the sound, nothing else.
The man had intentions to go into the castle before, but now, just by looking at it in person, he regretted it. He was trapped now. He didn't know his way back to the town from where he had come from, as he came on a carriage driven by someone else. Everyone had warned him not to go there, but the man had come to find his wife, whom a vampire had kidnapped.
His high suspicions were that the vampire had brought his wife to this castle. He wanted to save her, but he did not have enough courage needed to venture into the castle: He had two options, either to try to find a way back, or either venture into the castle.

Mind if I do some editing for your story.
Now that he reached the entrance, the castle felt bigger. Way bigger infact, that he had taken a step back to swallow his saliva. Its pillared stood strong but blunt. The windows tall but broken. And with the full blood moon, who's light penetrated the layered cloud, seemingly tearing each other, were forbid to enter it's vicinity. It all had a sense of eeriness to it. The castle's almost sinister darkness and the clouds taunting movements. But even the silence of the forest he found unusual before had become quite literally deafening. It almost all seemed to tell him: GO BACK.
And he almost did. Almost. But he had already set his mind on confronting the man, or rather the creature who had taken his beloved. And nothing would change that.

@@InfinityRooms I remember playing the Castlevania games for the NES and SNES and also Castlevania Curse of Darkness for the Playstation 2, but I don't ever recall there being some sort of blue pulsing energy field in the games, which is shown at the entrance to the castle in this video. Perhaps it's supposed to be the same sort of field that the protagonist goes through on his way to the castle in a chariot in Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Out of all the hundreds of Spooky Ambience videos out there on youtube, this one is the best! Even to the image of the Castle on top of the mountain, to the full moon at night, to the bats flying in the dark mystic night. Makes me literally feel like I'm in Transylvania! This has become such a Romantic-Mystic Escape for me

I like this and find it scarry AF. Recently some person has been coming around across the street and beating two sticks slowly& steadily- it sounds as outside my 9th floor windows and meant for me. I need to play this out window when the sticks start. I'd do well to play this in many situations. The visual is also stunning with many subtleties. Wow is the word.

Great work, I love it! The more I studied the visuals, I began to notice what looks to be the silhouette of a man between the castle and the campfire. Then I noticed what appears to be tombstones, maybe the man is the caretaker of the graveyard, and he is looking up at the nicely lit castle off in the distance? Probably saying to himself, "Where did I go wrong? They're up there in their warm cozy castle, and I am out here in the frigid cold burying corpses and tending to a graveyard. I should have listened to Dad and worked with him at his clock shop. But, no, I had to be "Mr. Independent" and go out on my own! What an idiot, I am!" (Said while violently shivering due to the cold).
This makes me want to play Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.
This is absolutely the best way to relax every day, I will never give up on this music! not for anything.

What a magnificent castle. See how it bathes in the moonlight; the windows laced with candles; the great bridge leading to its doorway; the dead trees resembling skeletal hands; and flocks of bats fluttering amongst the heavy air. All encased within the dark valley, ever so hidden from outsiders. Even climbing atop the tallest church, one could never the towers.
You have to venture up the mountains; those cold, cold mountains. Avoiding the wolves, bears, and... and the dead. Oh, yes; the dead will rise on nights like this. And the dead are not fond of the living
