These ladies were the real deal. Too bad they didn't get the recognition they deserved. Oh well, at least some of us knew of their greatness and enjoyed it while it lasted (and relive in on the internet). Great concert footage! Alison's playing is awesome. Those intro's, riffs and solo's are kickass!
The problem is that at the time when it came to female music artists it was all the about the look and not so much the talent and these girls had both the sex appeal and talent where someone like Britney Spears was all about the sex appeal and not so much the talent.
Allison Robertson is an amazing guitarist. She blows my mind. All original and she feels what she plays. One of the best guitarists ever. Rah! Her sound is second to nun.
Torry was such an invaluable presence on stage. She's so into what she does and clearly loving it, most of the time singing along with the lyrics just to herself, and then there's stuff like this: 52:04 Even after 50 minutes of playing she's still bringing energy like that.
Absolutely brilliant performance from THE greatest American rock 'n' roll band in the world 🌎 A wonderful sight to behold... at their absolute best 👌 Thanks for sharing this treasure! ❤
Saw them live. So good. Donna C was like watching Animal from the muppets! She break a stick mid song and didn’t miss a beat. Such a fun show and like everyone else commenting I wish they were still around. They rock and have fun which is the point of being a kick ass band!

Great band. Even though I'm a guitarist and really rate Ali Robertson, I've got a soft spot for Torry Castellano, she's like a little dynamo. Shades of Keith Moon and Animal from the Muppets.
Shame her body mechanics we all wrong injured her shoulders had to stop playing ,she would've been even better if she played with the proper body machics drumming technique
incredible footage!!! I remember meeting the Donnas Back at 2002 or 2001 Vans Warped Tour in Calgary AB Canada! What did you film this with and how did you tape the audio? It sounds like it is straight off the board being that good of quality. Were you working at the venue at the time of filming this or?

@@btbam666 well at that time i asked the band if i could film the show, and so I was able to get the soundboard fee for the recording. That how i always do :)

Interesting that these ladies saw early on that the only money to be made in the post file-sharing era would be in touring and merchandising…and they didn’t want to get stuck in that rut. I say good for them.
@@davidjackson2690 , seems they slowly lost the drive, when the drummer had to quit based on problems with wrists and a shoulder. The 4 girls had been friends and a band since young teenager years. The singer said in a newer interview that non of the members was fan of the change in music were you as an artist now have to be very public on social medias. Both the drummer and the singer have since got university degrees. Someone that apparently knew the bassist Maya wrote somewere that she had started studying art.

Hi, Thanks! It is. Soundboard mixed with ambiance. I don't remember what camera I had back then, but it was on DV tape
