Take a drive to view the wild horses. Power rd past Thomas, keep driving into the desert. Beautiful area. River, lakes, hiking…
Hope you film that area soon
Great videos! I would love to see a video that focuses on the rougher areas of the Phoenix/Mesa area.
Mesa, AZ population: 538,146 area: 138 sq miles Atanta, GA population: 524,067 area: 136 sq miles. Let that sink in!
Yeah, I just figured this out. At this rate Mesa will pass Tucson soon. And Mesa definitely doesn't feel like a city. Just a big town, really. Lubbock, Albuquerque, Minneapolis all feel bigger, but they're not. The 34th largest city in the U.S.
@@mplsgordon2 Minneapolis, definitely as it is the densest populated of all the cities on your list (by a good margin). Atlanta has the same population density as Mesa and Tucson, Albuquerque and Lubbock have a lower population density than Mesa. The main two reasons that it has a "smaller feel" than the other cities is because it is a Phoenix suburb, not a city anchoring a metro area. Due to this fact, it has a very small central business district (downtown area). Lastly, yes, due to the fact that Mesa's population is increasing at a much higher rate than Tucson, Mesa will become Arizona's second largest city in the not too distant future.
@@crazeyjoe Most of Minneapolis' 56 square miles is single family homes on comfortable lots. But the urbanists do want to change that, so everyone can live in condos or apartment towers. Minneapolis doesn't feel more dense, but it is definitely a city.
@@mplsgordon2 While Minneapolis is no NYC, it is twice as densely populated compared Mesa and Atlanta. I've been to Minneapolis and there is a decent amount of areas that have more multiplex, condos and duplex heavy areas. Especially south Minneapolis and areas near downtown, NE Minneapolis, I believe, is the least densely populated section of Minneapolis.
Born & raised in Mesa, great place to live! Thanks for letting people know about it!
Ive been here 45 yrs...
Good and bad places in every city..
Mesa is nice.
Back the blue
Great video Homie. Thanks for taking time out of your day to bring us the life and times of living in Arizona. Smile Now Cry Later Homie 🌵🌵🌵
Thanks for the video and comments. It great to know the neighborhoods.
Idk why I love Pete’s fish and chips, square piece of fish...but I do! 😂
Omg that’s where I drive to get it
Simpleton's Broadway&Lindsay, on a Friday-night, AYCE.
Mesa has a lot of diversity, friendly people, great view of Superstition mountain, lots of shopping,. There is a lot of sirens going off though, but we have a zillion snowbirds which double the population every winter.
Gotta admit, I like the straight shootin talk! Nice tour
Thanks Crypto Fox
I live at Alma School and University and I love it here. You forgot to give us a tour of the Mesa Riverview shopping plaza that’s around the corner for me and I love it!
You are right, I forgot about that nicer area
Mesa Riverview is Huge ......and it really classes up the joint....lol
Honestly. Love it!!! Thanks.
Glad you like it!
Yous still havnt lost that NY accent forget about it🤣💯
Thanks Arizona living. I'm planning to move to mesa. Going to have to look for a job in mesa.
Did you get the job? I pray you did!
My nephew moved there today from florida, glad to hear they at least consider it safe so not too dangerous, never heard of a blue collar residence with a golf course but sounds good
My city of choice in AZ has always been Mesa...I cannot wait to move. Thanks for the video.
Jax Delts Westbrook Townhomes are affordable and it is close to plenty of shopping and food too
I loved this video because it's straight and honest. I'm from Philly considering a move to Mesa AZ and I can really relate to Sam... he's awesome! Thank you Sam for your video and your honest opinion. It definitely helped me!
Glad you found the video helpful. I pride myself on making all my videos 100% authentic. No BS.
Did you make it to Mesa?
@@ArizonaLiving My sister lives in Mesa, so I've hung-out alot there. What I noticed the most about that town isn't so much the golf-courses & the Target-stores - but the trailer-parks & the jamokes walkin' the streets. Most all of them look sketchy. My brother-in-law has told me: don't go out there after dark = it's the knife-&-gun-club out there.
I just got back to Philly from visiting Mesa!! Got kids and grandkids out there!! It was a beautiful vacation for me!! I wish I could have stayed!!
The airline that flies out of Williams gateway is Alligient.
I've taken the Light Rail in Phoenix! Fantastic! Greetings from Maine.
North East Mesa by red mountains is the posh part of Mesa, really nice there.
You call it like you see it. I like it
Thanks Neil. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Haven’t watched you in a while, forgot how much I enjoy your videos. I’ve debated moving out west for some time !
Lived off Val vista and southern from 89-00 when it was all new.
Had enough of the heat and left when I was 25. Was shocked what a dump my old neighborhood was when I visited last year.
`Wod a dump' describes further west on Southern. And largely, they actually consciously CHOSE that!
I've had a strong desire to move for 23 years now. I think I'm slower than a turtle. Love the videos
Thanks Jaclyn!
Light rail hasn’t been there to long they finally finish up but 10 years ago it wasn’t really there
Hahaha your hilarious thanks for the information super helpful
Thanks for another city tour. Love these videos🔥👍💯
Ima mesa baby seen all those places luv dis hood
Thank you for taking the time to make this vid. I am considering moving to mesa from LA and I am trying to get a feel for the area.

Thinking of relocating to Mesa from Tucson and that place looks pretty clean and damn the traffic looks pretty light compared to Tucson. I live in pretty bad area in Tucson so probably Mesa would be step up too.
I agree, Mesa would be an upgrade.
Did you make that move?
@@kimberlywilliams4513 Yes I did...funny thing didn't care for Mesa that much. It's hotter then Tucson and this was during the whole mask thing. Then my employer wanted me to go part time and I couldn't do that so i wound up moving back to Tucson after 3 months there.
you gotta do a video o neighboring Apache Juncton Arizona
AJ is on the list
Im new to this channel today, so glad l found it
You ever try that bbq spot by mesa furniture warehouse? I went in one time and the line was around the building
I haven’t. Arron Childs with youtube channel ”Journey Maps Live and Local” told me that it’s great.
I lived in Mesa from 2014 - 2021. It's a great place to live. Never had any issues there except for the HOA which was a complete nightmare. I do have good memories of living in that city overall, and wouldn't have moved if the costs didn't go through the roof.
I love your vibe... right at the beginning of the video I knew you were east coast.... I'm from Syracuse myself just looking for a change! Thanks for the info.
Appreciate the compliment! Always good to hear that I'm staying true to my roots.

Big Sam. Love the videos. From colorado. Love american furniture. Have actually been in that store. Stayed in hotel next door when we're searching for our home. Hey any videos on NYC Pizza in arizona?
No videos, but I’m a fan of Grimaldi’s and Venezia’s. They are NOT NY style but still good.
Stop into BurgerFi Mesa speak to the manager we would love to have you in
Being an Arizona native and Mesa last place lived before moving to Florida because I need to experience other places besides Arizona in my lifetime, malls-targets-floor n decor to pitch Mesa has? Can find anywhere. Now for like Tucson Eegee’s found no where but Tucson, wonderful frozen drink on hot day. Although have heard plan on coming to Phoenix area with it just like Bookman’s did once a very very very small bookstore in a very low end part of Tucson. Also instead of pointing out the Taco Bell suggestion show Filiberto’s. I love Arizona & just my opinion pitch things to get people there can’t find anywhere else. Can take me out of Arizona but can’t take Arizona out of me.
Jeeps and trucks everywhere even up here in Maine!
mesa gang gang
So now we know that Mesa isn’t safe because property theft, we know where a good Home Depot is, an IHOP that’ll give you the shits to avoid, and American Furniture Warehouse plus good parking spots there. This is top shelf, my friend. Keep up the good work!
I appreciate the compliment!
Who lives in mesa?!😀
Me
I just moved to east Mesa. I love it!
Almost as many people as there are in Tucson.
The airline that flies out of Williams gateway airport is allegient airlines.
North East Mesa up by the superstition mountains is beautiful......I'm from New York and have a house in that area

Where are the more expensive neighborhoods in Mesa?
I’m told that the Eastmark area is expensive in Mesa.

I use a GoPro Hero 7 Black with a Rode Mic.
Can you do a video on maryville
That area is sketchy.
homie wats sup HOA for all the houses in Gilbert ?
I was paying $98/mo and they took care of the landscaping in front and behind my house. They also maintained community pool and grounds.

What area in mesa is good and what's consider the bad area?
This will give you an idea of the worst areas--www.CommunityCrimeMap.com
As a Mesa resident...I suggest staying out of West Mesa.
As a former west Mesa resident I agree
MacDonaldStreet, above Southern.
No mention of billionaires Gilbert & Louis Albers who live there - formerly of florissant mo

Ya talk about Jersey and Gilbert more than Mesa. I lived there 8 years you told me nothing new. I think people would move away from you
My channel is primarily for people considering relocating to the Phoenix valley. Since you lived in Mesa for 8 years, it’s not surprising that you already knew the 10 facts that I shared.
Which is a nicer city Glendale or Gilbert and which city is best for middle class folks
King Kofstar Glendale is probably 60 square miles so it can depend it’s huge northern Glendale is really good in arrowhead which is a great region, where Glendale borders Peoria and north Phoenix is top notch 2 of the 10 best zip codes in Arizona was just published. Look around happy valley and 67th ave, Stetson valley or west wing it’s far more beautiful than Gilbert and has tons of mountains, trails, lake pleasant, bigger yards and homes and higher capita. Gilbert is nice if you love traffic and 2 income working families with lots of kids and lots of airtime’s and top golf and stuff like that. It ain’t happy valley but it would be alright
For instance just UA-cam Vistancia sub you don’t see that in Gilbert they how old power ranch, yay
Gilbert
If you have a family and kids and you are a Straight White person meaning that you are not Gay, Gilbert is the place. If you are young and no kids and still enjoy the night life then Glendale is the better option.
You are so funny! 🙂
Thanks Christine!
Interesting... Pronounced "M"a"sa, not M"e"sa. Us dang Yankees and our pronunciations....lol
Very weak highlights of Mesa.
Feel free to create your own video with strong highlights of Mesa. Be sure to send me a link so I can see how it's supposed to be done.
