I never knew Mesa was the largest suburb in the country, though I could've guessed as much! The whole Phoenix metro area is absurdly gargantuan. The streets, the shops, and the houses just never end. Cities like Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe, etc. all blur together. It's dozens upon dozens of square mile blocks in every direction. You never realize the scale until you drive the entire length of Baseline.

Some, like the new Amazon warehouse, will need quite a few employees - not sure if the majority will be high paying jobs or not.

They are certainly not on the streets in tents. Someone care to enlighten me? Great video!
Next time you're near the Superstition Mall, instead of the chain story, I would suggest Nana Dee's. 50's style diner with Great food! We moved here just 3 years ago, and this is one of our favorites.

There's a great food store called American discount foods that has basically beat up products but that are still good to eat... 😆... I can't make it out there too often cuz it's so far from Phoenix but if you live near it it's worth I go you can save a lot of money they have great prices on everything including meat.
Not surprising. Yuma is a pretty obvious choice for San Diegans who can’t afford the cost of living but still want to maintain their ties in California whether it be work or family. Go to east Yuma like Fortuna Foothills that’s where the retirement communities are and you’ll meet all the transplants from the rest of the country.

The Mesa Az temple he mentions in downtown is one of the LDS, more commonly known as Mormon, temples. Mormon pioneers founded Mesa, and they still dominate government and politics in Mesa.
