Not just the X5M, the M50i with Adaptive M suspension is almost as insane with the handling and delivers properly on power go with that. Going down the line to the 50i and 40i it starts to lose the feel as the power output does not match up with the tight handling anymore.
A lot of people who don’t have BMW car don’t appreciate how good they are, I have an M4 Comp and have drove top Mercedes and Audi’s which are great cars but not got the fun factor if you want to call it that. Great vid mate !

Have a previous gen x6m. Can confirm, that thing changes your perspective on what’s physically possible. People who say fast SUVs are useless because they are heavy etc have never driven something like this, or they would realise that you don’t lose a lot with them even on track. And on normal roads that loss of handling isn’t noticeable. You do notice the raised clearance driving daily though.
In my opinion one of the biggest sleepers on the road, especially considering most people confuse it with the M50d 😂 the way this X5 M (and the previous generation) can handle turns is impressive for its size and makes it the perfect compromise for those of us that need the space, leg room, safety and high riding position of an SUV.

I sold my Porsche when the kids got too big and was told by the wife we needed a family car - so I bought one of these, heated, massage seats and this kind of track day capability…perfection 👌🏻

It really pissed me off watching and hearing you behave so poorly in this video! Thank goodness that driver Johnny is a GREAT driver and your antics did not distract him and have him lose focus.
