@@bobgomez9481A simple Google search would have shown you that's not actually true. He actually studied the games, learned about them etc. to be a better host and became a fan of video-games.
He knew the games and knew how to play them! End of story because how else could he give tips on a game he hadn't played without playing a good deal of it before and after the show and on breaks? He and Kevin both.

He was one of the two hosts. He did his job. He knew nothing about video games. Consummate professional game show host. Filled the role, did the gig.

Not just his energy, but his sportsmanship, too. I admire how he was cheering Lori on while she was playing the name the game board.
Jerome passed away awhile ago according to his son.
Geoff seemed to be enjoying himself on this show.
He's one of the best gameshow hosts of that era, he really got into it.
Cocaine had that effect in the '80's.

I used to watch this show when I was a kid. Haven't seen it in 40 years!
I use to play Buck Rogers since I was a kid at the arcade. However I love playing City Connection (aka Crusin') even if this game is no accident.
This is a lot better than Nick Arcade.
