How many Gold Nuggets did they leave behind on this patch?

- The quad bike is finally going again so I’m taking it for a drive - to go metal detecting of course. Good to see there are still more gold nuggets to be found in the surrounding. How much gold can I find today?

I've tried but I can't pick up the sound changes. Did it take you long to work out the nuances of sounds between hot rock and something else Krissy?
Well, to be honest these are only guesses. To be sure it's safest to dig ALL targets ⛏
Same. It all sounds the same to me.
@@OutbackGoldFever I love an honest answer, lol! I've asked this question to others and often get a "wine taster's" answer ("a hint of this, a whiff of that....)"!! Perhaps the camera audio makes it less easy to differentiate between sounds.
Its the pitch change. Gold also seems to make it a wavier type sound, likely due to size difference. Hot rocks being "large" gives a larger magnetic field to read. A smaller rock or a pointy one (like the one by the tree) would give a smaller field which would sound close to gold.
@@NVMDSTEvil thanks for the explanation! 👍
"Quite the gold hound you are." Yoda
I absolutely adore this woman... In one episode I heard her say... "No Worries" and I smiled because it was her amazing German accent. I can't wait until the next episode. Peace and be safe.
Krissy, I am in New York watching a German lady pick gold in Australia.....amazing. Or , in your own words.....NII-ICE
...cold weather keeps the flies at home...lol..keep looking for the end of the rainbow, stay well....
I’d rather be too cold than too hot. Also fewer flies! Another great vid. Thanks Krissy
Thank you Cisco 👍🏻
Nothing like finding a bit of gold to warm you up on a cold day. Ni-i-i-ice!
Best detecting weather. No flies.
Dont know if you get back to see comments 4 months later but.... glad to see in this vid you showed the difference of signal between hot rocks and signals of gold... thats really the secret in detecting successfully. Noted it applied to the coiltech coil just like the z14 coil. When a person masters the different sounds, you can run the machine in "normal". And gain the improved depth and response of it over "difficult" which is just a "dumb down". Mode that only finds the easy targets.. thanks krissy, you go girl
i am so happy for your camper. hard to believe you never had one before, what a trooper you are,
Living off grid on a new level, it's been great!
Krissy I'm so much looking forward to your next video. Your a joy to watch
✨ Little nuggets better than no nuggets ⚡️
HA HA dropsy , hold on tight, nice find..
Another great video Krissy! Gotta say, I love the way you say, "NiiIIIIiiice!" when you get a nugget!
Good job enjoy the cool weather. Arizona is getting hot.
Winter in Australia sounds Wonderful !
Good job sussing them out amongst the hot rocks-- And you re a champ at gathering firewood!!! 😉
Love your videos Krissy. Counting down the days until I'm over there - 63!!!
Excited for you Scott 😁
Greeting from your fan in South Africa. I love your work ethic. You need more horses.
Donkeys
Natural gold sure looks beautyfull.
Keep up the great find of Gold nuggets a nice Fire Pit will help out with the cooler weather I look forward to next week keep up the great adventure Cheers Big Mac from the Great NW USA
Slow-Motion was a nice touch, particularly dragging the pick through the red dirt, love your work as always.
Nice you Will find gold
Good score for the day! Warm up yourself Krissy.
The best of winter for you, No Flies 😂😂😂! Cheers
If you are not going to use the quad bike for a while, you could disconnect one of the positive battery terminal, to save power.
So great to see your positive vibes and another great video, Krissy!
Thank you so much!!
Love everything you post and how how you talk to us
Wow! What a great day! Despite being so cold, but the lack of flies makes for a nice change I am sure! Take care and stay warm!
Thanks Joanie 👍🏻
Do you know why there is no grass anywhere? Why doesn't grass grow there? 🤔 ... 🙂
What’s cold ? 60-70 degrees F. That’s a heat wave here, lately. Don’t freeze this winter.🥶😍
It's winter in our country in South Africa as well.. cool days and nights.. Thanks for the video.. Better to eat an apple that flies..
Krissy, a great video, so well filmed, and edited, with slow motion sections, great gold, thank you 👍😊
Great video krissy 👍🍺
Winter blast headed our way next week, I’m expecting 5C in Blackwater in Central Queensland, can’t wait! I absolutely love winter time here, able to get so much done. Have a 5 week trip coming up too that I’m very thankful is in winter time!
Sounds great Robert! Go thrive and explore the great outdoors. Don't forget to bring a hot water bottle 😊
@@OutbackGoldFever a very well stocked camp fire will be in order.
Tks again Krissy - very entertaining 👏👍
Good work Krissy nice weather here in Townsville
Cool video Krissy.
How strange to see you in winter clothes especially as we're approaching the middle of summer here in the UK.
Take care & stay safe 👍🇬🇧🍀
Trust me, it took me a while to get used to long pants again 😁
Enjoy the summer over there ☀️
All the broken up quartz around you is good indication of gold nearby
Brrrrrrr bloody cold here to mate.
At least in the cold you can warm up
but summer it's hard to cool down.
Some nice pieces, there will be more there.
Keep warm.
2DFERS Dennis and Donna
So true 😁
Too bad the seasons in between summer and winter don't last long.
Happy for you to have your Quad going! Great scores!
I bet the night skies are amazing out there
They are!
Such fun Krissy watching you find the gold. Your persistence has paid off. Hope it warms up for you. Best wishes, Deb
Love the weigh in!
Great day out Krissy. Love your observation skills. Noticing previous old workings. Very essential in finding gold and in other parts of our lives.
You work so hard out there, and your giggles at finding gold are enjoyable. Keep up the fun work.
Just got back from Fridgetown W.A, yup...bloody cold.
Eureka Yeee Haaa
Well done Krissy..
A 23 degrees Celsius day would seem absolutely freezing since your average temperatures would of been around 38 to 40 degrees day for months..
Well I am slowly recovering and hope you have a wonderful Sunday..
Cheers Famo59..👍🍻⛏🤓
So true! It takes a while to adjust from super hot to 'normal' 😁
Hope you're recovering quickly so you can get back out there swinging 🤞🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever
Cheers 🍻
What a fun day.. 6 nuggets! That's Awesome.. Always look forward to your videos. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.
Teresa, why is there no grass anywhere? Why doesn't grass grow there? 🤔 ... 🙂
Summers over here are dry, the ground is like cement. The seeds can't sprout I think 🤷🏼♀️
It great to see someone as keen as me that doesn't give up when it to cold or hot good on you krissy
Hi Krissy Leon her your a good worker I've been watching you a few months now you get in to it keep it up love it all
You seem to be doing well and are happy! Keep on going.
Congratulations on your finds! Keep the gold coming!🦊🦄🦄🇺🇸🇺🇸
Great work Krissy, little ‘fish’ are sweet.
Great video , your enthusiasm is infectious, I'm sitting in my van with the heater on in nsw , you have inspired me to get up and ignore the cold cheers 👍 ‐1 here
Good finds Krissy! Great video also!
Keep up the great detecting and videos!
Love your positive attitude. Hope you find a massive nugget on day.
Thanks for another look into the gold fields. Got a chuckle out of "FREEZING" temperature. My daughter and her husband were just up here visiting from the Queensland area complaining about how cold it was here while we are creating into summer.
Nice work . Good luck with the next one. Krissy
well done on the finds enjoyed watching
Yay Krissy! What a great day of detecting 🔥
Good luck with your gold Hunting 😊
Cheers Krissy, after seeing how intense the flies have been in some of your other videos it must be so much more enjoyable when you have days like you had here with no flies?
Not that it ever effects your positive and optimistic attitude.
Another great video Krissy!!!
Gram and a half is a solid day in anyone's book Krissy!! Might be cooler, but less flies....
It sure must feel good to have a good day like that! As always thanks for taking us along. Kind of nice not having so many flies also I am sure.
The cold wind must be dreadful ... Much worse than summer heat, and this year might be worse than "normal" ...
Personally, I love the long, insulated undergarments in winter. They help, but I definitely prefer summertime.
You did well for your first trip in new country, and I'm still hopeful for that million dollar nugget to come rolling out with your pick ⛏️ I'm hoping it's so heavy you can't lift it, but instead you have to roll it up on a tarp and drag it back to camp with your bike!😜🤞👏🥰
Settings highly depend on where you're operating. Run in 'normal' if you can, over here it's impossible so I run it in 'difficult', sensitivity 14-18.
Winter there is definitely different than here. We have snow up to 3 ft and temps as low as -30° F
Awesome stuff love your work
Winter in Auckland NZ, and Wet, its hot pool resort time,
My winters here in California are usually raining or snowing, I’ll take just being cold.
Awesome gold yet again!! Well done sweetie
Your always a pleasure to see. I always wish you the best.. I so much enjoy when you find gold. Your a doll...
Great video and some nice gold stay safe and warm out there cheers
That's the temperature here in Melbourne, at least you don't have to worry about the neighbours or traffic LOL
Thanks. ✌🏻👊
great day I live in the pacific north west in Oregon USA it is just getting worm here summer is just starting great day for gold
Thanks for your honesty krissy regarding the sound of hot rocks versus gold targets they sound the same to me as well. You think it’s cold where you are try below zero most nights and not much warmer during the day but at least the flies are gone. Happy hunting keep safe
Hard going out there with the little stuff but still a good day out for you with some shiny stuff. Great to see you enjoying yourself and yes it is getting quite cold out there so take care and stay warm. See ya next weekend. Stay safe and look after yourself. xx
Another nice video - always enjoy seeing you find gold with my Sunday breakfast. I’m not keen on the cold either, but good to see less flies bothering you! 👍
best part about being out bush is sitting in front of a fire at the end of the day smoke smell and nature
Now that it's cold a camp fire is actually enjoyable 🔥
@@OutbackGoldFever yes its not the real bush with out the fire
Well done krissy I have just seen this latest post at least you dont have to put up with too many of those pesky flies 😀 I wish I could be over there at the moment and try my luck its colder here in nz I have tried detecting over here with my Fisher gold bug 2 but we are very restricted over here now keep up the good work and take care out there regards keith
Great job
Like always...........Enjoyed. Great hunt Krissy!
Another great video Krissy! Hey I sure you know this but counted 7 little nuggets before you had the little accident. 😁
Please excuse me, gotta move the car now and detect underneath it 😂
Thanks for sharing
Job well done Krissy. Keep up the good work.
100• in Waco, Texas!
Awesome 👏 glad you found some shiny
Nice vid Krissy
Yeah, winter is definitely come, though I would say it's colder here in Victoria ❄️🤣
Great to see you are still getting some gold, love the video 👍🤓✌️
Good haul.
Coffee with me old mate Krissy - must be Sunday
Happy Sunday Morning ☕️
Good onya Krissy! looks like you might be onto some gold!
Great job and video
great job thanks
Something Ive been doing to try to find better places for metal detectorists to find relics (rather than gold nuggets) is base on digitally processing ground images. That last video of yours that I watched - I applied a method developed 7yrs ago which saw me reveal A Pair of Sibling Owls drawn in heavy cobblestones that were under the depth of the plough in a field in Staffordshire UK. I posted my image online to prove it's existence & significant location.
I published it for 2 reasons; So people knew that such imaging processes DO work rather than don't (I adapted it to work with sea water - I immediately found a complete shipwreck sitting underwater on a sandbank, woohoo! Apparently I was paying attention in Physics after all - and - because of who I am, I know which Fleet it's from and that it's *loaded* with gold coins, so this is one way to find gold);
The 2nd reason I published my Staffordshire Owls image showing them to be virtually identical to OZZIE The Staffordshire Pottery Owl made famous when featured on Antiques Roadshow was to prove that I'm one of the 2 little girls who drew those owls : ) As unlikely as it may seem - I know where the gold came from that was used to make the Staffordshire Hoard found in 2009 by "AMATEUR" metal detectorist (could they have demeaningly used that word any more times in the Saxon Gold documentary?? FFS, Terry Herbert found what the "professional' Archeologists didn't so who's the true professional Haha; I should prob. be careful what I say as Im pretty sure Lead Archeologist Prof. Lesley Webster is my Mum's Cousin? Noreen Renier who co-wrote/contributed to the book Psychic Archeology, she was my Past Life youngest granddaughter and my current life Gran's younger sister, plus, I was born Evelyn Renier in 1955 with our family having come to Scotland from France so I've been reborn 3 times consecutively into my own descendant line; fascinating if you believe in Serial Reincarnation which is of course NOT 'fiction'); Not only that, one of the funniest men on UA-cam - a Gold Prospector & Miner is my Uncle Jeff. I saw him when he was still a baby in a cot in 1956 sleeping beside his twin sister (my Aunt Jacqueline) and I met him again in my next+current life when I was a kid & he was16. Funny Then, Funnier Now.
This makes Gold Bunny a bit of a Ninja when it comes to armchair gold prospecting. In your last video (that I watched) you picked up a nice gold nugget from a place where "other nuggets had been found in the past", so, I processed the image of the ground and I saw it had the *invisible-until-processed* ground scar of a large oblong box perhaps 12ft x 20ft?, so a piece of heavy gold mining machinery had likely been sited at that EXACT spot. My Point is that if you had overhead views of the sites you search and you processed those images as I've done, you can SEE what's not visible to your naked eye, locate where people have detected/mined in the past, and perhaps increase your your Nugget Find Rate.
Sounds like an interesting journey you're on.
The drone functions as my ground covering imagery from above 👍🏻
Great video thanks
Love your videos
Your definitely a independent person
Nice and cool for a change, that's the only time of the year where I would last a whole day out there 😂
Awesome nuggets! I love ur channel so much. Thank you!
Thank you so much 👍🏻
Beautiful nuggets!
I see some of the flies must be wearing a jacket to battle the cold.
They are almost like cockroaches, very resistant 🪰
