I'm really intrigued by that rock. Guess cause i live in Arizona. Maybe it's just the color, don't know. Great hunt Krissy. That gold is ever elusive. You never know that next signal may blow your mind. Good area, good gold, think i would stick with it for awhile more. So many times i've seen impatience set in and the next person to come along? Bingo! 🙂
Wishing the best of luck Krissy. I may be a litle late to watch the original day 3 hunt. Watching the replay and not fast forwarding. To get the full impact of day 3.
Good to see you are still getting a bit of gold, I got two small nuggets this week and the mandatory shotgun pellets and a few 222 cartridges and a shotgun cartridge base, the detector was screaming and I dug and dug, cleared out almost half a cubic mtr of dirt and still couldn't find the source, I have taken 2 kilo's of dirt home to soak over night and see if there is a layer of small bits, crossed the creek and got a good isolated signal but after digging down about ten inches I just couldn't be bothered going any deeper so it will be there for another day, went across a hill face and got the shotgun pellets, I will go back tomorrow and see if I feel like digging that signal or not, have a good week see you next Sunday.
You're on the gold Leon, good to hear! Sometimes I detect in the area half the day before I return to hard targets like that. Hope you find a big one ⛏
Ah! Sunday! How I look forward to your videos. Interesting activity and good presentation. Thanks for making my day again. May not be a lot of the good stuff but I'm greatly enjoying your efforts. 👍

You look tired Krissy! I hope it's all worth it darling. Something isn't right. I am not saying it to dampen down your hopes. Like I said, the prize IS PROBABLY close by and is 100% definitely closer than yesterday. Thankyou once again for allowing me to follow you on your adventures. OH! nearly forgot. Something that I thought was hilarious and I hope you do to. Last week I was saying Yippee cause I got a tick (just messing around). I know I rub most of your followers up the wrong way. Anyway, with this in mind, when you replied to one of my negative Nancy comments with a positive one, every person who has ever watched your videos couldn't wait to give you their tick knowing they get an extra bonus of putting me in my place. Hi folks on @Outback Gold Fever. You're really working hard over there. Nice! As You're putting so much effort, moving soil and such, don't You think You shouldn't rely on just one detector? As Jeff Williams once said, "small gold, small coil - big gold, big coil".
We could put a bigger coil on the detector but wouldn't hear those little pieces of gold and instead get nothing 😳 This is the most powerful detector you can buy and I have found big gold down deep with the small coil on it 👍🏻
@@OutbackGoldFever - Nice. Just for exchanging info, Jeff used to use a Gold Bug-2 (from Fisher ) with 6.5" Coil. A rare machine that works in 71 kHz frequency and would be a good piece of redundance for You guys. I wonder about the gold that could be skipping away from you. It worth a try.
Well, you guys are consistent with the last couple days of work. Wish I knew more about the rock and what to expect but it might be something to give it another day or two and then pull the plug. Any time that the metal detector is not swinging is lost prospecting time. Wouldn't it be more efficient to just put rocks with good signals aside and hammer out the gold all in one batch later?
Hard to run a machine on what your finding, the cap rock looks silicified? Therefore silica has mobilised with dissolved iron and base metals.over the underlying rock, which I assume is shale because you are in a basin out from meekathara? What your finding could be the gold dropping out of solution with iron and silica through the weathering rather than gold mobilised tectonically through shearing in underlying shales? What were the larger nuggets in? Iron rich silicified cap rock. or associated with quartz vein fragment now trapped in the cap rock like a piece of rubble.
