As much as I like seeing your daily vlogs, its refreshing to have a break from a creators content. I feel like I'm more engaged as a viewer when a creator hasn't posted something in a while. Keep up the great work and thanks for the inspiration!
As a freelancer this is something that I needed to hear, I have actually just booked my first vacation in over 2 years. Even if I am only gone for 7 days, and will still need to take my laptop so I can work, this is something I realized over the last month, that I really need to take some time off too.

I feel you, Matti! I worked very hard on my UA-cam channel so far this year. I upload monthly (so that I can study for university) and this seems like no big deal, but especially in the last month I felt very powerless and stressed out. As I have passed all my exams now I'm so ready for a good summer vacation and some time off UA-cam - even though I love it.

Unfortunately a friend and a very good photographer suddenly died as I am on vacations and I remember how short our time is on earth. So, be u and enjoy life every second!! :)

My wife keeps telling me to relax. Always on the go, always moving and with time constraints. Took a day off to do nothing the other day, it was the best thing I've done in a while. My brain had new ideas and was able to think things through differently.
As much as you grind, you gotta also take time to relax and leave time for yourself. I've learned this the hard way, you'll end up tired all the time and not enjoying what you do!

Wise words about rest. I have a full time job on top of my channel, so I sometimes get frustrated with how slowly things are growing and how I can't put out videos as much as I'd like. But then, I also know that my kids won't stay young forever and time spent with the family is a far greater investment.
Hey Matti, I love watching your videos I'm based out of Atlanta and we should collaborate one day maybe if I ever make my way back up to Toronto haha. Question though, I'm also a dad I have two kids 5 year old daughter and 3 year old son, how do you make time/balance your time for "family time." I respect that you ended the video that way but I'm also always curious how other filmmakers with kids balance their time between being a full time filmmaker and being a full time parent.
