Thank edstudios for making this kind of awesome tutorial. I really appreciate it. I hope to see more great content like this. Done subscribed and get notified.
Thanks! Why you didn't make this in UE? Omniverse has better quality of render or maybe motion graphics better works? You have scene in UE and I'm wondering why you export this in another realtime app. Thanks again!
No particular reason, I'm always experimenting with new tools and wanted to see what Omniverse create could do. I love Unreal Engine as well, but they both excel in different ways. Omniverse feels a little more intuitive to me since it feels more dedicated to film/animation, vs. Unreal which is a game engine first that also has film feature abilities - if that makes sense. Both can produce amazing quality renders though.
Thanks for your tutorial, it's awesome. However, I don't know how to scale the object from zero to its orignal size, could you mind telling me how to do it?
Thanks, I'm fairly new at it still and I've only scratched the surface, but it's a very similar workflow to UE, Omniverse also has a sequencer window like in Unreal engine, and you can also live link and record takes the same way. They have connector apps for 3ds Max, Maya, Unreal Engine - where you can single export into the USD file format that transfers all of your UV's/materials - or you can import an fbx or alembic file from any software. Hope that helps!
I am studying law in Germany and nothing with tech. I am just interested in Omnivores because I hold Nvidia stocks but it looks soooooooooooo difficult to me. It looks so unbelievable. How do you guys create such things? I just don't get it it seems so unreal. It seems more difficult than building rockets for me. Respect for you work! Do you pay money for Omniverse?
thats really a game changer effect.
Thanks for your awesome tutorial. it was so helpful for me!

I can't get rotation animation. It fully rotates by one frame.

Also yes, fbx will bring in your UV's - and you can recreate your materials in Omniverse Create
