Think about it like this, a individuals are smart but together people are dumb. Imagine all the bureaucracy, shock, and even greed. People are gonna be scared and will act almost on impulse. If we think of it like small cracks in armor where there are so many people there will be mayhem trying to protect or evacuate them all. I imagine that would be how a small group like this could do the damage an army could.
the WD zombies are easy to kill. But this things are harder, they can run, jump, climb, even soldiers will get hard time if hoards of running zombies just attack your barricades.

It boggles my mind that no one, in the history of apocalypse movies, thought to raid a museum, take the ENTIRE BODY COVERING STEEL MEDIEVAL ARMOR and just wore it. No zombie, (at least normal zombie), running or other wise could POSSIBLY kill you. The only MAYBE way is if they all dog pile you and you can’t get out from under them. But seriously, think of all the museums in the world. If just a small group of humans, say like fifty or a hundred, get fully decked out in knight armor, you could very easily survive the apocalypse. Guns have ammunition that is VERY hard to make in the apocalypse. Smithing is an uncommon skill but a shocking amount of humans have it. Just go over to Europe or UK, find a castle, fortify it, (not that you would need much), and hunker down. I’m telling you, it would work a lot better than just wondering around, praying you don’t run out of ammo or your gun gets jammed.
And the best part even IF your gun does get jammed the castle is so big you could set it up like a rust base and you could walk through it and unjam your gun and not a single zombie is getting to you

I still say the flaw in Jerusalems anti zeki wals is there A: lack ANY detouring systems (IE wire midway, no repeal systems, amped up taser stuff.) B: the wall is flat, not a thicker wall that allows for sharped plates of metal in it to cut or even a mild curve to make there stacks fall over and key thing, sensors. Had they done more the city would held. and the lack of sound lures outside the walls or that can be deployed to play HEAVY metal rock.
FINALLY, this GREAT UNDERRATED game looks and runs like it has on PC for years! WELL worth a buy and a play.. devs are awesome and active and community has a lot of great people.

there's three zombie situations that i'd hate to be in the most. it's a tie between the world war z plague, resident evil and the dying light plague. dying light has volatiles and a whole list of terrifying enemies like club goons, revanents, ect. volatiles alone are enough to put the verse in a top 5 spot. Resident evil is similar to dying light, but the different mutations are caused by different strains and advancements of the t-virus. axe men, and lickers are the two biggest threats. world war z is unique in the fact that ALL of it's infected can sprint for endless amounts of time and distance, AND it has extremely dangerous specialized zombies. dying light would be easier to survive, since you have the UV light weaknesses, and you could negate the much larger zombies by living 2-3 stories off the ground and destroying stairwells, and allowing yourself entrance from a climbable rope or parkour your way up, surrounding the entrance with uv to prevent anything that CAN climb from getting in. RE and world war z universes, the zombies dont have weaknesses, meaning their variants can always get to you no matter what you do. i think the only situation of the 3 that you could actually undo would be the dying light virus, since you can continually mow down zombies during the night time from a uv protected tower, and gradually take out all of the zombies safetly.
