I would say 10/10 of Philadelphia & Israel into Krimson City from Zombies for Tekken 8 & The Evil Within 2014 for Jin Kazama & Sebastian Castellanos of Human Vs Devil Jin on Zombies.

Worked on this as a runner when it filmed in Glasgow. Pretty lady with glasses beside white hat in the background at 7:35 -6 behind Brad centre screen is my old friend, Neelum. She was so excited about being an extra in this and would not stop talking about it that I once put a strip of shiny silver duct tape over her mouth so she’d stop talking about it as we had all signed NDA’s and we were out in public at Kimble’s, the old coffee place in St Enoch centre! Luckily I had the tape in my backpack as I was required to stick down cables etc. She’s a tough leather trousers wearing biker girl so Neelum took the fact she was suddenly gagged in good spirits!

@@APPY742 It was in 2011 and was one of my first jobs in the industry so if I remember correctly it was about 400/450 per week over a fortnight. I was still a student at the time and attended Cardonald which was used as a base for production.

@@APPY742Literally everything that was in the book is not in the movie. The movie only has the title, that is it. In the book there is a literal war against the undead. There are front lines and battles and a lot of the old tactics of war had to be rearranged to fight a new enemy. The book goes into detail about the plague and it's effects on humanity and the planet. I don't want to spoil too much, you can listen to the entirety of the book on UA-cam if you don't feel like actually reading it.

What I never understand about these stupid zombie movies, is why they never use large scale burn weapons. Giant molotov, oil barrels, napalm, etc. Literally what humans have used for centuries in large scale defensive warfare. The weapons already exist, in large quantities in military warehouses. And failing that, any number of anti-personal weapons/tools. It's just absurd. Especially when there is a heavy military presence on the scene, there is no reason at all these weapons would not be utilized.

I would expect military would choose whatever tactic best fits the situation and throw everything they have at it until something sticks/works.
EG. the thumbnail scene where zombies are grouping up against the wall and piling up. You mean to tell me that extremely hot, flesh evaporating, bone melting hot, napalm wouldn't work?

Establish a retreating fire line, roll grenades down into the oncoming horde to slow them down, and continue to move backwards so they have to come to YOU. Instead they advance in a frantic pace TOWARDS THE HORDE as their enemy literally falls out of the sky and are almost immediately overwhelmed. Ridiculous lol
I think the priority was to cover the civilians, can't create distance if the space is filled with civilians
@LyteMo Okay, that's not a bad point. That having been said, I do still think they'd have been much better off retreating in a controlled fireline, chiefly because civvies were already bugging out hard in the opposite direction (albeit chaotically). I guess what mainly disappoints me about this movie is it's dedication to insane spectacle while it proudly bears the title of "inspired from the Novel by Max Brooks". Which if you haven't read, I implore you. Wonderful book.

In the book, they said tank shells were useless, but the concussive force from the explosions would liquefy their brains in their skulls, just as well as a bullet to through the head would. I never saw the movie but heard it was very different.
