i have zero problems time stretching guitars but as soon as you mess with bass it turns to utter crap. I can hear the garbling on it even after x form was rendered. I have never been able to solve this problem in all my years.

I've compared Monophic and Polyphonic stretching a bass twice the length to really hear the artefacts.
The polyphonic actually sounded better surprisingly. Try it!

Monophonic has a bug where it sometimes just makes a horrible noise. Polyphonic is great for getting a rough layout as it's quick, then switch to xform

@@simplyhomerecording9575 exactly that's what I do, always switch to Xform when committing

Everytime I try to quantize bass tracks, I have an issue with the sound... It sounds horrible, like an "over drive" plugged or something like that... Sounds like a drum roll (actually bass roll), got it...? Then I need to fix note by note manually, and it sucks... I wonder whats the difference between your bass sound and mine...? BTW, it doesnt matter who is the musician playing here or even the instrument brench is used... The problem is always there when I use elastic audio...
