    The inline pump is most likely there as Asetek has a patent on one type of pump that is housed in the CPU block. So now other manufacturers are making their own to get around this.

    • @mmulari1

      Some of them have done that as well. Could just be cost reasons.

    I just used this in my recent build. I'm marginally satisfied with the end result but this company is rife with issues. Particularly concerning the RGB fans. It comes with an 8 port lighting controller which offers quite a bit of expansion possibilities. I decided to add another RGB fan for the rear of my case. I went to the Raijintek website but you can't purchase any of their products directly from there. The English wording on the website is also very poor. I then went to Newegg and purchased a Raijintek Iris RGB fan. To my disappointment the new fan I received had a different plug that wasn't compatible with the Orcus lighting controller. At this time I wasn't able to find anywhere that sold a standalone Orcus fan. So, I bought a Raijintek Orcus 140 single fan CPU Cooler and simply took the included RGB fan and installed it in my case. The new fan I installed plugs perfectly into the RGB controller. However, the new fans lighting doesn't match the lighting of the 2 fans that came with my Orcus 240 kit. Not only is the color different but the breathing sequence doesn't mimic the rest of the system either. I don't feel any of this is a major deal breaker but it certainly paints a picture of a Chinese company without an established reputation. If you're purchasing this kit solely for the RGB effect I'd recommend looking to more reputable brands. If it was simpler to add on to the product through the expansion ports I may feel differently.

      You should have sent us an email so we can reply accordingly... there is / was no standard of RGB Fans and we are servicing once somebody informs us, but no contact, no solution i am afraid

      @@RaiJintek How about the fact that some of the colours of the waterblock don't match the colours of your fans, like, at all? I mean look at the footage where he changes the colours with the remote one by one (around 11:58 in the video). White in the fans, light blue in the waterblock. Light purple in the fans, blueish on the waterblock. Yellow in the fans, light green on the waterblock. Deep purple in the fans, light purple in the waterblock. And it's the supplied fans, not some random RGB fans that someone wants them to be colour-synced with your product.. what's up with that?

      I am wondering why you never sent an email to the support... would be highly recommended before you purchase anything wrong!

      @@SteliosSioulas there is a 12V RGB version and a RBW 5V ARGB Version... what you saw here is the 12V version and fading into the Color.

    • @SteliosSioulas
      @SteliosSioulas 2 роки тому

      @@RaiJintek Nope, there is no "fading into the colour". I am talking about the part that he changes the colours one by one, not the fading mode. You can CLEARLY see (especially if you pause) that there are colours on the waterblock that don't match the colours of the fans at all. And what is all that 12V and 5V about? Both the fans and the waterblock are 12V in this particular case, aren't they? So, I am asking again, why don't the colours of the block match the colours of your fans? Don't you use the same 12V led strip both inside the fans and the block?

    What about "Little Devil PC-V10" PC case with a built in Phase Change Cooling unit, it is a little bit heavy but it works and can drop the CPU to -70 degrees below zero and is as quiet as a fridge Freezer but has to be installed per the instructions that come with said case but needs a 1KW PSU, the said case can be got with two cooler heads.

    The big plus to the inline pump, for me, is that it would be simple to replace if it did fail. At least, it could be if properly implemented. But I still plan to go with a custom loop so that I have complete control over where the components go.

    How often would you have to add liquid? Do you have to reapply thermal paste every time you add liquid then assuming you have to take it off?

    • @mouaxiong8618
      @mouaxiong8618 3 роки тому +1

      Depends on Temps and thermals of your cpus, and the thermal paste you should replace thermal pastes between 2-5 years.. been using an aio for 5 years now. Only replaced thermal paste and no issues at all. (X5675 cpu at 4.5ghz)

    Hello, I have a problem. When I connect the molex connector of the RGB Hub my PC won't boot at all. Just a very quick flash of lights on the motherboard and nothing happens. When I disconnect the molex, it boots like it should but without RGB. What can be wrong? Is something required to plug the molex or does it mean the connector is broken?

    • @MrMagoo-no5lb
      @MrMagoo-no5lb 4 роки тому

      I would only be able to assume there's a short in the molex cable. Maybe a pinched cable? Or, it could be connected to your PSU wrong. That's a strange one.

  • @xXTheCrisisXx
    @xXTheCrisisXx 4 роки тому

    How do you connect the RGB hub to your mainboard? It's a 4 pin cable, but some sources state it's 5V add RGB (others say it's 12V RGB)....the cable fits both ways into the headers, too 🤔

    There is something wrong with your data.
    For the Hyper 212 to do better than the majority of coolers is an anomaly. It's not a bad cooler. But, based on all data from other reviews and tests, it should never rise above the middle of the pack unless you populate your comparisons with budget trash. It most certainly shouldn't be able to beat a Dark Rock Pro 4, even without all the other contrary data showing this, basic physics would dictate it shouldn't be possible due to the sheer difference in surface area to dissipate heat.
    Also, and this might just be a European market difference vs NA, but why are there so many lower tier brands in this comparison while lacking bigger more establish brands in AIOs like Corsair or even NZXT?
