Started 2 years ago with the same kind of setup and tools. You will get addicted, now gathering is full blown shop with CNC, mill etc.....keep going!!!!
Yeah but to put cardboard as a devider on the floor is probably not the best idea. But what do i know i only worked in a metal foundry with molten metal.
He visto varios vídeo y solo puedo decir que haces verdadero arte. Bueno gusto con las formas y colores. Un trabajo fino y delicado... Mi más sincera enhorabuena Ojalá algún día pongas tus cuchillos a la venta. Saludos desde las Islas Canarias (España)
The handle is beyond beautiful, especially the blue details are great! The blade is so high-end. You‘re gifted :) The sound level of the tools is really on point btw! Just LOVE it!
As usual another beautiful creation. It's been to long my friend. We were all wondering if you were still making knives or not. Thanks again for such great craftsmanship and attention to detail. We wish you would make more knives and videos but are thankful that you share them with us when you do. Stay healthy my friend. God bless you.
Thank you my friend! It's true, it's been a long time since my last video. I had much going on around Christmas and during the following month I hardly ever had time to continue. The next project is already in the making and I'm sure it's going to be the nicest knife I have ever made. At least I hope so. God bless you, too.
Found a random video of yours and liked it. This is my third one I’ve watched now. SUBSCRIBED!!! I’m a hobbyist knife maker. I’m curious what you’re spraying on the blade for fine sanding before/after heat treat and again for sanding the handle scales. Is it oil? Soapy water? Something else? I don’t do that, but I’m only on my 3rd knife, so don’t really know what I’m doing yet.
I was just wondering what that tool was that you used to file the bevel in? I've been trying to find one because I can't afford a bevel jig. Tools on 1:36 and 13:03
You only get one set of lungs please use a dust mask when grinding or cutting if not for yourself at least for the younger Generation watching your video's please and thankyou. I do love your skillful designs and an eye for greatness.
Thanks for this lengthy vedio!

What's the green paint you are applying to the cleaver and what's it used for?
A protective coating against decarbonization and oxidation

I use windex. It does not stain the steel as much as water and really works well to remove sanding dust from the paper.

How about actually forging something. For some real knife making skills check out shurap here on UA-cam.
Knife videos are boring !! Try to make some good swords and thoroughly test them !! That would be entertaining...
There are plenty sword videos on youtube ;)
