Ready for anything mate. Thank you so much for watching
You the best bro
Thank you
👍
The last time I came this early my girlfriend was pissed off..That little John Bobbit bit at the end lol..
ILikeTurtles - last time a came this late your girlfriend almost left you lol
haha
John Bobbit????? That's a blast from the past. A name that strikes fear into half the population and gives the other half too much inspiration.
(oh and I guess to be pc I must mention the other half that don't identify with such things)

Now that's beautiful, love the blade shape and details, and those scales look gorgeous. Nice makers mark too, it's about time! Thanks for sharing and hope all is going well!
Thanks man. I always put the makers mark on but usually do it after the video
Nice work Geez very tidy, your knives are getting real nice bro
Thanks man too kind
a little more practice, and you will be absolutly amazing at making these " ooooh shiny " things. great video
Ok, those scales are absolutely beautiful. Ive never seen the washer on the pin trick, but Im stealing it, sorry. Ive got two cleavers and a hunter on deck for tomorrow, so thank you for that and the router table idea, fucking bravo! I love my Evenheat, and thought I loved my Wicked Edge until I saw your sharpening system........ What ahhhhhhhhh........, what do ya got there????
Thanks buddy. I like to share little tricks with you all in hope it may help.
Its a madedge system works so good as well
Wow... Excellent. Thanks for the video. It gave me ideas how to improve mine...
Thanks buddy
Hi bro 👋👋👋 good knife 🔪 👍👍👍🤝💪💣👌🏽
Thanks man
Slick job on the grinds bud. Has a real nice taper to it and did anyone else notice the figure 8 he was doing while sanding the handle material? Thats attention to detail right there
Thanks very much mate. Aye I always give it a figure of 8 to help keep even and flat when sanding
instaBlaster.
Big sexy seax! Nice bro great stuff! Love the handle and large profile!
Still think you should make a micarta out of the corners you cut off of books
Thanks man. Haha im too lazy to make my own micarta tho.
Just a gorgeous knife bro an very sharp 👍👍great video
Thanks man aye its my sharpest yet
Absolutely amazing job. I love the way the blade turned out. What steel did you use...couldn’t tell in the video. The scale are gorgeous.
Thanks man feels so good to read the great comments
LOVE the profile... I'll take one with an ebony handle and red accents.
Cheers mate. If you are interested message me on Instagram or Facebook
Beautiful knife, Love the design and shape of it. I'm in the seafood biz would be a good tool for head's of big fish.
Thanks mate. Went to a head chef this one but i do take custom orders
@@warrenbrett8232 WTF😂
That heavy breathing when you're first putting then in the oven had me laughing xD
Hahahahaha least it didn’t go unnoticed
Has to be the most damn sexy blade I have seen in a long time, keep up the amazing work mate, make a few of these and you could make a mint!
Thanks mate so kind. Definitely loved making this and hoping to make more in the future.
Ok mate. Wrap it, stamp it and send it as a pressie 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Hahahahaha unfortunately already sold
NO 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😨😨😨
Very nicely done 👍
Regards
Davy
Thanks very much mate
As always perfect and precise workmanship, well done, I am speechless! I also want to pay respect to the tattoo on the left thumb, paganism is still alive, respect from old BG.
Cheers man i really appreciate it
Brilliant!
Love the "eye" in the blade!
And the water bottle test, too!
:-D
I need a knife like this for the over-BBE bottles at work...
;-)
Hahahahaha nice one thank you
Pp
Amazing work
Subscribed
Great stuff thank you mate
Honestly it's pretty weird when you rub stuff Like that but you make cool knives
If it makes you uncomfortable then im doing it right
Just starting out. How much of a time and money investment is needed to make it profitable.
Its still not profitable for me its just a hobby. Hard to judge tbh
I'm no knife maker you should try making a Rambo style Bowie with clear handles with a unicorn pattern underneath and then make a pink leather sheath with tassels deadpool style !
Hahahahaha id love to make allsorts of stuff but it needs to be sellable its the only way i can make money to fund the channel
Real blade👍
Thanks mate
Super 😍👌👍
sure it cuts paper and things, but how long can you throw it at a brick wall...lol
Hahahahaha kitchen knives are harder than hunting type knives so not as tough
Commenting to help you out. Watched the video cause I wanted to, liked it cause you deserve it
Greatly appreciated mate thank you very much
Hello!
What is the blank steel? What is the temperature of the hardening and tempering process, that is, the 1st and 2nd processes?
and what hardness did you get after your hardening?
I ordered a sandwich blank, with a core aogami super blue, but not tempered.
Best regards.
This is stainless steel not superblue and they all HT different, you will need to read up on your specific steel.
@@DiesInEveryFilm Okay. Thank you very much!
Ive just found your channel and now im binge watching everything. Ive always loved knives tho and these are some absolutely incredible ones. Do you sell custom knives by any chance, ive been thinking of getting a good cleaver.
Thanks very much mate, yeh i sure do i have a website now thats linked in my recent videos or Google DiesInEveryFilm, if you struggle ill link it but sometimes UA-cam block the reply so didn’t want to risk that.
@@DiesInEveryFilm Found it, thanks brother.
Man I was so sad to see u sand half that block off, too bad u dont have a bandsaw to resaw ur pieces to get two book matched sets... also making sure u take advantage of the book match will make both sides of the wood look identical which is a nice attention to detail people will appriciate.... I get it's not noticable unless u really look but when u match them right the sides of the blade will match as well which is a cool when u do it right..
Love ur work btw been watching u waaaay back when u had thumbs up the camera at every cut scene lol
You do realise I sanded the outside of the block, these were bookmatched all i did was flatten the inside of them as to make the pattern flow you take away the 3mm that the blade fills up on the inside.
@@DiesInEveryFilm first I'll say I meant no disrespect... I know personally I like hearing peoples thoughts and constructive criticism because I get new perspective, if that's not ur thing I understand... of course u may not be offended and I'm reading the "you do realize" part of ur reply too much texting is funny like that....
It's hard to know exactly where the mistake was made because I'm not watching ur entire process... I just know in the end the scales didnt match, there are lots of reasons that could have happened... could be the template wasnt plotted exactly right on the block, you used the wrong sides of the block for the outside, could have sanded off the book matched side when u thinned it down I dunno... would u agree in the end the scales werent identical?
Again I mean no disrespect nor do I think I'm a better maker than you in anyway! In fact you have me beat in alot of areas and I could learn a ton from ya... the book match thing just happens to be one of my strong suits that's all...
Let me know and I can give u some tips to dial it in perfect if u want, if not it's cool too brother either way it's all love....
Ive no idea what you are talking about tbh cause they did match i made sure of it.
Is there a way to find print of that beauty? I love the shape and wanted to do it, I can of course made the print in some CAD program but maybe there is easier way... Love your videos!
Thank you, all my knives are custom drawn so i don’t have prints
@@DiesInEveryFilm Thanks for response! Keep it up buddy
I don't have a band saw or a belt sander and I'm watching your videos. But good video

Master 80lv
Que tipo de acero usaste para hacer este cuchillo?? Saludos desde Muzquiz coahuila México!!
What does the ferric chloride and sodium carbonate do? I see a lot of other knife makers not do this step and well done on a beautiful knife
Ferric etches the knife as its an acid so after I use the bicarbonate to neutralise the acid.
Thanks
DiesInEveryFilm Customs thanks for the reply you just got a new subscriber👍
Слушай у тебя совсем другое вкус лайк мендан👌👍🤗🇰🇬
Yes im sure, thanks

Where are your from?
England
What is the handle made of? It’s beautiful!
It’s dyed stabilised burl mate
I love the knife and the video, thank you for putting these great build videos out there.
I'm always terrified of grinding too much after temper. How do you prevent ruining the temper since you seem to do all the bevel work post heat treat? Just take it real slowly?
It all depends on what knife im
Making some i do before HT some after but I would worry about ruining temper you just keep cooling it after a few passes on the grinder.
Its so much easier to control the grinds when the steel is hard as you dont get the belts biting into soft metal.
Show 👏🇧🇷. Como consigo um adesivo do canal?
They are available through my teespring that is in description.
Thanks
Hey, do you sell those knives? and how much?
Yes i sure do mate. Contact me on Instagram or Facebook if you can

What is the adhesive you use to put your scales together? Is that heavy duty super glue?
I superglue the liners to the scales but then i use epoxy for attatching them to the blade.
@@DiesInEveryFilm Thanks. I hadn't thought of doing that.
Im going to do a video about it soon mate.

Its stainless steel. I have the grinder turned down slowed than usual so don’t get crazy sparks anyway
