thanks you after a week of coding and trying this video helped me realise i needed to perform a complete power down by just holding down the power button until the unit completely shutdown, and then starting the car again allowing it to work and aux to appear. thanks again.
Hello, I judt bought same module for my Audi A4 B7 2005, after connecting all wires and connector, will I need to do some coding or I just need to reset unit as you said?
Great video mate! Your perseverance has paid off! The struggle to integrate an aftermarket kit into a manufactures can controlled system takes a great mind!
Good video. I things like the Bluetooth adapter that add safety as well as enhance the system functionality. It seems a bit more involved compared other more generic adapters, that are used with other makes of cars. I added a Bluetooth/ USB/ AUX adapter to my Toyota Avensis and is plug and play, so no extra coding or programming needed. Just plug into the CD changer port. You could get an extension cable for the microphone or get a microphone with a longer cable. A cheap upgrade.
Didn't work in my car either. But may have found the cause. My RNS-E has sw600, at what i have read the RNS-E need at least sw0650, the newer type RNS-E need SW0220

After coding you just need to force the reboot of the radio holding radio and setup button and AUX function will appear

Salut ești din Ploiești sau Prahova aș vrea să mă ajuți și pe mine cu instalarea la un modul bluetooth care îl am cumpărat deja.
E ușor nu e greu
Hold "RADIO" and "SETUP" for about 10 seconds for a reboot of the unit!
shove the mic into that small grill in the climate control!
It still doesn't work😢
