greetings, I watched your video and wanted to do the same, but I don't have a blue wire on the connector, I have a gray and a white one, and on the bluetooth connector I have a white, yellow and 2 red ones, there is no green like you have, can you help me?😊
The colours of the cables may vary. Using the diagram on top of the radio unit do the same wiring. Ignore the colour of the cables as there will be variants of cables.
Got it working a treat.. my only issue at the moment is the Bluetooth module is permanently powered even with ignition off.. I need to find a switched live. Or a live that's only on with the radio.. as that. Bluetooth module will soon drain the car battery. Any suggestions?
@MrHandsomejackuk hi yes there is had the same issue there is an ignition live tap into the one that goes into the main unit it self not the cd changer and this will fix the issue
@@hayche it looks like the grey opposite the yellow that you did is also a live not sure if thats switched live i not tested it yet... have you found a switched live ?
@MrHandsomejackuk yes I did manage to fine one am not sure what colour it was but it wasn't the live that goes into the cd changer. I tested it with a light up screwdriver 12v and the live test goes to the main head unit is an ignition live so if you tap into that the bluetooth device will power off with the cd player and won't kill your battery
I've just watched the video again. No hate here my guy, I'm genuinely trying to make mine work and looking for advice. What I'm trying to say is, you haven't changed the configuration of the wires. Instead of you swapping the plugs, you've cut the wires from one plug and connected them IN THE SAME PLACE on the other plug. (The rest of the wires on that part of the plug lead nowhere in the original plug from the car)
If the cable i modified in video leads to no where in your car it means you have no cd changer. So this will not work for you. If you see in video the video the oem cable of the car goes into the loom as my car has a cd changer. I keep the the cd changer powered and tap into the live and ground leading to the cd changer then i cut audio left and right leading to the cd changer and connect to bluetooth device. I hope that answers your question@horatiumihai4479
Did U plug the CDC changer plug into the red connector too

Where did u connect the black one to the radio?
Under any screw it's just an earth
Did you cut the wires and connected them in the same place??? Please clarify what exactly did you change?
@horatiumihai4479 hi if you watch the video I have explained this. look at diagram on top of the cd player

@horatiumihai4479 then you probably have no cd changer in your car. This method works if you have a cd changer in the car if you haven't it won't work
back to my original question tho, what did you do differently?
