Hi everyone. Welcome to my channel.
If this is your first time here please check my other videos and subscribe.
I have YT channel for quite some time now,but only recently started to post my work related videos.
I had to learn editing and everything i still do :-)
    I'm woodworker from Slovenia /Europe
And not so long ago i was total noob when it comes to woodworking. I didn't have a clue.
If you check my Facebook page ( link below)
You can see hundreds of stuff that i build, from tables to cabinets and whole furniture.
That is a fact..no matter what you know or don't know if you are passionate and willing to put effort into it you too can succeed!
In this video you can see my process of making unique endgrain cutting boards.
The pattern is my own design and plans that i made are based on the cutting board presented in this video.
As i said in the begging of my video this board may look difficult to build but that is not the case. It's very simple once you understand what is important for exact and beautiful pattern.
Wood used in this board is : Maple, Iroko, Ash.
But you can make it from other woods which are available to you the most.
Just be careful to place it as the plans call for and be sure to use contrast wood.
Otherwise 3D effect and whole look of the board won't be as good.
If you have any questions what's so ever feel free to contact me.

I'm a Lukemia survivor and alive today because an "anonymous stem cell donor" from Europe provide me his stem cells for me here in America for a stem cell transplant. Happily, the transplant worked. I'm an avid woodworker and your videos give me purpose during my long healing process. I bought your cutting board plans to make for people who showed much care and love for me during this cancer ordeal. I am home now in my shop after 9 months in the hospital making your cutting boards to say thank you to people who gave me their love and caring. Keep making your videos. I would watch them over and over again (still do) while in the hospital and pick up little tips here and there to use in my own shop. You are a true artist! You don't use gimmicks like a CNC machine, you are a "thinking man's artist" that is why your boards appeal so much to everyone, there is nothing phony in your design. They are amazing!! You've helped me more than you could ever realize my friend. Would love to see more plans on different designs to buy.

Good luck Jim, ur story brightened me by ur success and will to live. We have that in common as I have a defibrillator in my chest and my heart/lungs are at 25% but I'm happy to be here and have chosen the same videos as my favorites from our Slovenian friend, his talent is amazing. I'm new to this so will be attempting my 1st soon. Best of luck to you, God Bless...

I am a survivor of Leukemia (CLL) also of 18 years . Having gone through chemotherapy the 4 separate times the CLL returned I am on a clinical trial and now in remission. I started doing woodworking as a hobby and saw your beautiful cutting boards and fell in love with the beautiful artistry of your boards. There will be more plans in both mesurments on my channel. Maybe someone will convert them for me. I will send mesurments to that person. And so you will be able to lern a lot. Thanks for watching

I just discovered your channel, and it is great! I looked back through your older ones, and there is a lot there that I'm interested in. Your videos are well photographed, and you don't dwell on time consuming details. Another plus. You mentioned that you are still learning the video making process, and I have one suggestion:
I personally find music backgrounds in videos to be more distracting than helpful. There is no need for music, and I would rather hear you comment as you progress through the project than hear music. But if there has to be music, it is far better to have the low key, low volume type than something that distracts. But that's just a friendly suggestion. It's your channel to do as you wish. Looking forward to the next one! Thanks.

Yes here we use verry different mashinery. Here is more focus on production and efficency rather than "limited space " type mashines. But as long there is a will everything is possible. Thanks for stopping by and enjoy free plans. Cheers

Slovenian Woodworker Hey! Looks like many people have never seen pro woodworking equipment. Every time I see the price for that kind of table saw I like more my current table saw. I mean, that format table saw can cost more than 12000 US dollars (new).
I know I have to like my table saw because it's a really cheap one... It's a Stanley STST1825, and I bought it used. Its so cheap its 90 degree is really 89. Haha. The best I can get with this table saw is "almost square". Haha But very soon I'll be working on it to fix its flaws.
Anyway, I like it and it's not too bad. I have gotten to compete several paid projects on it already, and I know it's the beginning.
My best affordable upgrade will be the Makita MLT100 :)
Well, I was impressed seeing many people commenting on your equipment. When I was looking to get the best tools some months ago I saw these kind of equipment so it was not a surprise for me. But it sure is a sight to see when you get to see personally one of these tools. I know it because I already have several tools and when I take them to other places people are very impressed. Haha Most people here in the provinces of Peru have never seen a cordless drill or a 9" circular saw.
Oh, l will surely try to make that cutting board, but if I get to make it I'll hang it on my wall!! No way I'll cut anything on it! I will even try to sell it as a decorative item!
Thank you for sharing this. I will get to learn so much.
    Thank you again!!
    Cheers from Peru.
Pd.: Excuse the lengthy letter, but, I think you could get much more audience if you partner with a video editor/producer. Or simply get your videos a little shorter, but don't sacrifice the humor!

+LoveZick Hey man. Thanks for your rich coment I don't know where to start :-) Well about the mashines. I started in super small basement with cheap Bosch ( hobby) pts 10 and gradually moving forward.
Once I've got enough space in bought myself proper mashines and tools.
I get often questions about it yes. From USA mostly. They have more traditional small table saw's there. Here is just oposite . Everyone has mashines like me or much better :-)
      You can't compete without it.
My friend has production of doors and windows and his scm LIVINCIBILE saw's is CNC and was around 25 K
Anyway this was one of my first "editing " videos and I sure have to learn a lot.
Thanks for watching and your feedback and I hope you'll get your saw soon. Until than try to make square cuts :-)
      Good luck mate.

Slovenian Woodworker Hey! How are you doing? I'm working on conditioning what will be my woodworking shop. I'll try to upload some pictures to my G+ page.
I wanted to show you this format table saw. Please watch it and tell me what do you think of it in terms of likeness to the one of yours or other similar.
      ua-cam.com/video/FbIMJMPeWfs/v-deo.html
Here you can see the table saw's description and plans. They ask for 20 USD for the plans. I think it's a fair price. What do you think?
      Cheers from Peru.

Slovenian Woodworker Btw, I don't mean I want to build this format table saw very soon. I'm most interested in knowing your opinion about it. And I would like better to build a wall panel saw :)
