Some of these apps might sell your data, or have affiliates where they can get paid if you sign up , so it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable to trust a company to have access to all of my spending data . I think I’m gunna just do it the old fashioned way with a notepad
The price on the subscription is sometimes lower if you do it on desktop because app stores take their cut on mobile if you do the payment on mobile. UA-cam Red is cheaper if you sign up on desktop despite teh accout acarrying over to mobile.
Big fan of money dashboard, I like you can add offline accounts so you could track Marcus savings for example manually whereas many which don't support Marcus would just be not possible to even have it on the list.
how do i track my savings ? how would I put in Matt car and also Bedroom refurbishment etc ? surely the app should be able to do that and then tell me how long until I reach my goal etc etc etc ?
Thanks a lot for putting this together. I still miss Microsoft Money which bizarrely they stopped producing. Never found a better personal finance tracking product.
Same here, I just haven't found anything that gives me the same reoccurring transaction options yet. The cashflow graph and reporting options were also great. What did you settle with?
Are they apps that don't need credit cards or bank accounts, I don't give apps access to my account, I don't trust 3rd party stuff. I would bet every app sells the data to any company's they want them.
Hi with The Plum App How Long Do You Suggest Save Money In The pocket Before Transferring It Back To Your Current Account The amount you have saved in the pocket before u get charged any interest as I wanna save as much money as I can each time in the pocket Thanks conna
Just re watched this. Looked at the apps and two of my banks still cannot add: COOP and Chase. I did use Emma previously but found it was a day or two behind what I could see myself on the banking apps.
hey andy , if i want to use the switching offers, does it have to switch from my main bank account? or can i open an account with a random bank and switch from there?
@@BeCleverWithYourCash you’re right in the sense that it’s not rubbish advice but I didn’t need any of that I needed a quick list of good apps, add a time stamp please
It would be helpful if you'd actually show screen recordings of using the software.
I was actually expecting that 💀 it wasn’t helpful at all
right?
I'm a total YNAB convert, watching the video ATM so no idea if you get to them, but recommended!
Totally
YNAB is the best

@@eaceves I am still using ms money. Don't know what I'll do when I change computers as you can't even download money from the Microsoft site anymore.
All the cards you mention work with Snoop. V easy.

Hy Andy. That’s great content! Thanks for this tips!
Appreciate this was over a year ago, any chance of an update? What do you think of Revolut?

I think the difference in price between the mobile and desktop is the extra charge the online store charges
Thanks for the info - I am looking for an app which a couple can use and wondered if there is a recommendation?

Love these types of videos Andy, super helpful :) personally I find my excel sheet the most useful, but I know lots of people love the apps!
Thanks Anna! I love a Google Sheet
What about security and privacy?
All that information about me from all my bank accounts etc connected to free app …
Probably being stupid but why is it that with plum I cannot withdraw all my money out of the pocket ?
Great Content
Great overview, lots of good information, thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Random banks are fine, you may need to have direct debits set up though on the random account, check the deal
Have u gt any debt videos andy great vid btw
Chase works with Snoop.
Best one was YOLT
I've wasted 9mins of my life. Best budgeting apps, is the title. 9mins in and you haven't mentioned a single app. Useless video
👍 good job
This is an AD
Does he know he is an ad...?
thanks for the effort، but first 18 minutes was waste of time!
I disagree! It’s all useful information, though yes, there’s a lot in this one

@@billybobjocrabb7095 he does have time stamps, throughout the entire video. Not his fault if you don’t use them
Need a 2023 update to this so you can tell us 20 million times to visit your website
No demo's? Absolutely pointless video.
would you be willing to show thousand of people how much you spend on certain things?
