Amy I know you didn't get along with Jacquie and that is fine we can't all get along with each other.(we are human) I find it very respectful that you sent your condolences to her family and friends. Those smarties candy you got are absolutely one of my favorites. Hopefully you won't need to use the iron so much, but at least there is something you can use to help your levels go up. Sunsets and sunrises are so relaxing to see and watch, such beautiful colors. Take care.
Calcium doesn't let Iron adsorb, so when you take them together your body just discards the iron as waste. I struggled with anemia for quite a few years, and this was the explanation my doctor gave me.
So so sad being taken so soon. I just hope lessons will be learnt and this doesn’t happen again especially when it wasn’t needed. RIP Jaquie.
I dont know Jackie but I am sending my deepest synpathy to her and her Family and friends and her followers.
Where I live 19 degrees is freezing. I am saddened by the loss of Jacquie she was so a kind person and she never quit advocating for those of us with Chronic illnesses and Chronic pain.
I wont lie, her dead turn my mind into a mess. We are so used to live with our chronic illness, never thinking about how this shit can kill us.
At this moment, I'm struggling with my mind to chill out, and just trying to forget, because in the end, most of us do not die so young as her.
I’m in the UK and have iron in my TPN. We adjust the amount in my TPN just like vitamins etc when I have blood tests done. Strange how every TPN producer is different

Hi Amy, you can’t stretch cotton pj’s but you can open the outer seam and insert fabric or whatever to increase the size. Send them to me I’ve got a sewing machine I’d be happy to fix them for you 🙂

catching up on some older vlogs...and have to say I giggle every time you talk about the temperature down there. Up here in Canada, we also use celcius but if it is 19C here we are in shorts. Then again we have snow and freezing rain that you don't get so I sorta can understand it. As I sit here watching this it is 18C and pouring rain and I have the windows open with shorts on...so it is all the your prospective I guess. I think you can get the brush watercolour brushes that you can fill yourself with the colour you want on eBay quite cheaply-but I would probably avoid china sellers if possible, as shipping takes ages to Australia-and I’ve found, lately, never turns up! With the watercolours, and maybe even the watercolour brushes, do you have a local art supplies place? They are always awesome to go to!! 🤨(But I always spend too much at those places!!)-Also, Officeworks if you have 1 I’ve found can be awesome too for watercolour gear-and journals!!! (But it looks you are set with that one for the time being!). Really hoping you don’t have to have the iron infusion, but I guess if you need it, it will probably make you feel a bit better with tiredness and all that!

I just wanted to say just how amazing you are and how you have inspired me to be just me and to continue on with my triplets that were born at 23 weeks a year ago one has been in and out of the hospital since birth with a Nasal Gastric and will be getting PEG or a GJ tube. Anyway I just want to say just how much I look up to you and would have loved to have you as my sister as we are similar in age

It's expensive but Jackson's in subi would have a large range of water colour gear you could check out, otherwise the cheap option would be any of those chain art supply stores at the shopping centers... "riot art" etc. would sell what you want.
I am taking this Jaquie news not well t.b.h. ... a.t.m. I can not truly imagine losing a loved one so young. I have an aneurysmal dialation .... due to being born with a narrow aorta and hole. I am not at a stage yet for surgery quite yet. But every year that goes by I am reminded of my first heart surgery and the fragility of life. It can be scary to keep moving forward. Never take stability for granted. Live and Love every moment. Thinking of and praying for Jaq's family and friends.

Me too tbh. I vaguely remember that Amy said something about other girl with EDS but I can't remember what it was. And apparently Amy stated her opinion about Jaquie more than once. Tbh I was following CJ since the beginning and I had mixed feelings about her. Recently I discovered kiwifarm forum where people are til this day bullying her and stating CJ was a munchie.

A lot of people think that Jacquie actually had Munchhausen Syndrome, aka a mental illness that causes you to fake physical illnesses for attention. Amy said not too long ago that she knows for a fact that Jacquie (she didn't name her, but it was clear who she meant) did not actually have EDS.
I used to watch Jacquies videos a lot, but after finding out that she was very likely faking it stopped. I'm shocked about her passing though.. If she really WAS faking having EDS and needing a feeding tube, that just makes her death all the more tragic. May she rest in peace.
@@sunnyunnie3225 I saw the insane amount of Reddit posts saying she was faking, but I thought those people were just being assholes, I had no idea that she was faking it all around. I don't know how she would've faked that to doctors and medical personnel to get a feeding tube though?

I was so upset about Jacquie when I heard about it yesterday. I'm still really upset and I just don't understand. Life is hard and it sucks and you and her made me feel less alone, now there is a little hole in my heart from this :'(

Catherine Britton Catherine, I myself have had plenty of complications with my last 10 surgeries...Sure stuff like that is worrisome, and it’s always better to be safe then sorry. I would hate for something like this to happen to Amy! Maybe the drs learned something from this.

I knew about her and found it extremely difficult to deal with her monotone voice, but i did find her videos very helpful and i cried when i found out she had passed, as a chronically ill person also with Gastroperesis and POTS and Generalized Hypermobility , Fibro, CFS and extreme pain body wide ,(theres much more but it effects every part of my body) I find it very hard to watch certain people and certain videos because it really bums me out about my possible future, ive been sick since I was a little girl so ive spent my life wondering what the fuck is wrong with me and ive only just got answers at 22, and at apprx. 8 years after Gastroperesis first took me to the doctors and hospitals 😔 I know what pain is , most people have never had massive needles shoved into them to see why their is pain in the first place. Most people dont know how hard it is to constantly monitor yourself and be your own nurse, your own clean up crew, your own therapist, and rock. Also I highly recccommend medical marijuana specifically for us GPers smoking it, be super gentle untill your lungs can handle it, no need to be coughing it out every time, vape pens are also awesome just do some research on what temp and strain would be best for you, it helps me eat and helps me deal with the painful processes of my daily life,😷😷😷😙
Your weather is similar to central Texas... alllll the seasons in the same week🌻🍁⛈🌡🌞❄⛄... I have a suggestion for "stretching" your pjs. Don't put them in the dryer. Use pant hangers to hang them, but hang them by their cuff. That way the full weight of the wet fabric pulls down and stretches as much as it can. It won't be much, but it might be enough to get you through another season. If you can handle using a liquid fabric softener in the wash before final rinse, do so. That loosens up the fibers and gets them prepared to stretch. Here's a link to Kelly Letevola's channel. She does card making, but she uses copic markers, watercolor, and different types of ink... including watercolor pens. She includes links to everything she uses, so I thought I'd share her channel with you:
