Rob, I hope to see you next weekend at Kalkar. I've made myself a dolly with some surplus of wood, iron and small weels to roll my Lammy's, cheap and works perfectly, I have my workbenche free when necessary.

Appropriate gearing for the scooter's intended use is something not to neglect. Thanks for posting this!
I had a good, hard think about the gearing I used to run on my TS1, V-Force3, Mikuni TMX 35, Franspeed Race with 5.0 : 1 final drive with Li150 gearbox on 17x47. It accelerated really well but got into overrev at 130 kph. I was to tour in Europe from Poland to Ebensee, Austria. I decided on 4.8 : 1 final drive ratio on Li150 Italian 17x48 and it performed pretty well with average speed of 130 kph but with the scooter just settled into its sweet spot and running smoothly instead of revving its tits off. But acceleration was slower. I'm now running it with 16x46 for a final drive ratio of 4.89 : 1. It accelerates really well again and I don't notice the shorter gearing even at 80 - 85 mph (130 - 137 kph).

Nice to know that I im sort of thinking correctly. Its snowing here now (again) but hopefully be able to get the scooter out on the road to see how it rides.

Interesting video although I did need to lie down in a dark room to stop my head spinning with all the numbers. 😀 I run the same Casa chain tensioner which I think is excellent but the Steel Weasel reckons there have been some failures?

The very first batch came with screws that could snap. The second batch was sorted out about 7 years ago.

An additional 48 tooth rear sprocket can be helpful, too, especially if you're running a 4 speed.
