    The flaking might not be due to the gels but due to the conditioner you're using as a leave-in. Maybe try one that is specifically made to be left in, and see what the gels do. My gel never flakes (Eco Styler, olive oil version).

    • @MagicMinutesWithMissMillikin

      Emely Hernandez my hair does this, when it’s wet I apply curl gello from talliah waajid (its from target) to just the top part of my hair. It keeps curl but it doesn’t get hard like a gel normally would. It’s also SUPER conditioning and a little goes a long long way. Plus it’s the best smelling thing ever I’ve gotten compliments on the smell lol

      scrunch the life out of your hair loll! it could also be damaged so a protein treatment (aphogee is a really good brand) could help. If it's not damaged and scrunching doesn't work try finger coiling it. Last resort would be cutting it a little bit every other month, so it can just grow out

    • @corneliahanimann2173
      @corneliahanimann2173 8 років тому +3

      Natali Negrete not a curly girl here- but I watch Mo know's hair's channel s lot so I suggest you go over and subscribe to that one for the greatest curly hair tips and more professional tips.
      What I can tell you from what I've heard is that you might have some heat damage...not sure about that one though. What might help is a elasticity treatment. Since I'm not a curly girl, I can't suggest any product, but mo speaks about carol's daughter and ouidad a lot so...maybe try to find oue of these- or just check out her channel because...I know more about curly hair than most of my friends with curly hair-thanks to Mo.
      Hope this helps.

    • @natalinegrete8355
      @natalinegrete8355 8 років тому

    • @corneliahanimann2173
      @corneliahanimann2173 8 років тому

      Natali Negrete well, generally asking...is it heat damage? because if it's to far gone, you have to cut it, it's not going to come back...but you can manipulate it into a curl. elasticity treatment should help if the hair isn't to damaged...

    Your hair is so pretty! I actually hated that curl stretch cream from Garnier. It's probably the first product I didn't like from Garnier. It undefined my curls so much that made it frizz up. It is also waxy and made my hair feel pretty gross. So I guess it's not for everyone!

I love it, so i suggest you try it and its only $8 for like a 8 oz. jar. Which is not bad at all. So yeah if you try it tell me how you like it!

    I think we have the same hair type. Mine is really damaged from straightening my hair daily for a year and a half. So, it has a ton of breakage and frizz and this video helps. Thanks!

    Girl when you described the Red Ken mess around 10 product that cost 20 bucks it was so funny . I hate when companies get over on us but we have no choice but to pay for the product because it works great!! Also Congrats on your new career.

    I absolutely love redken's products. I use the extreme anti-snap line. Really have been wanting to try the buttercream from garnier as well.

    I haven't had the Olive Oil Edge Control flake on me. I put it throughout my hair, not just edges. I love how silky my hair gets! Just a little pricey.

    I have hair like yours....but can you do a video on how you manage your hair through out the week. Starting Monday - Friday or something so I can get ideas on how to manage my hair, style it, detangle it, and keep it looking fresh until me next wash😊
