A Conversation with Jamey Haddad at Berklee Valencia

The acclaimed percussionist and educator Jamey Haddad visited Berklee Valencia.
He visited some student ensembles during their classes and led a series of workshops on how to internalize rhythms and the importance of believing in one’s uniqueness. Contemporary performance (production concentration) students were also able to perform before Haddad, their faculty, and classmates, and receive Haddad’s feedback.
Haddad’s musical voice transcends styles and trends, and the universal quality of his playing has attracted many international collaborations. During his visit, we had the opportunity to sit down with him and talk about his career journey, Berklee Valencia, and much more!
