  • Every year, students in the scoring for film, television, and video games graduate program travel to an industry-leading recording studio in the beginning of the summer semester to record a piece of original music performed by a 50-plus-piece orchestra. After that, they receive a recording of the session, which students will mix and master to present as part of their culminating experience. Past trips have included sessions at the famed London studios AIR Lyndhurst and Abbey Road.
In this video, scoring for film, television, and video game students Leigha Logan, Julián Trujillo, Shadan Kohboor, and Chenghong Jin tell us about their experience at AIR studios and the pieces they composed, and also share a piece of advice for future scoring for film, television, and video games students.
    Music recorded at AIR Studios:
Shadan Kohboor: “The Old Man and the Sea”
Chenghong Jin: “The Eaglet in Vast Sky”
    Julián Trujillo: “El Pescador”
    Leigha Logan: “Into the Deep”
Video producer for Chenghong Jin's piece: Yang Xiaoyu
