The truth is that you don't need any special tools or fancy coffee equipment to make cold brew coffee. You probably have everything that is needed. Here is the list:
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
-Ground coffee (medium or dark roast)
-2 pitchers (one to steep the coffee in and one to collect the coffee in after steeping)
-Standard coffee filter
-Pour over (or french press, or coffee basket from your coffee machine, or cheesecloth)
-1.5L or 6.3 cups of good quality water
STEPS:
1. Buy medium or dark roast ground coffee (coffee is more fresh if you buy it whole bean and grind it yourself, but this is not required).
2. Measure out 1 cup of coffee and keep pouring so that you end up with a mound. Pour this into your pitcher.
3. Add 1.5L or 6.3 cups of cold or room temperature water making sure to get all of the coffee grounds wet. Stir if needed.
4. Place in fridge for anywhere between 12-24hrs. I have found the sweet spot to be 18 hours. You can experiment with this as well.
5. After you have waited, take your cold brew out of the fridge and strain it using either a pour over, french press, basket from your coffee machine, or a cheesecloth.
6. Enjoy your amazing cold brew! Add milk or sweetener as you wish.

Simple recipe, no stupid things to have to go out and buy, and no waffle just gets straight to the point! Great video, many thanks!

YESSSSS.....finally an EASY way to make cold brew without all the bells and whistles...thank you friend👍😁
Yaas enjoy!

UA-cam is sleeping on your channel
This video deserves millions !
Haha thank you. Don’t forget to sub it helps me out!
After a few failed attempts cold brewing at home, found your video that didn't need a weighing scale. I loved how it turned out! Now making my 2nd batch😊 Thank you! Much love from 🇵🇭
Literally was my same issue! So glad you’re enjoying it ☺️
Who makes cold brew coffee with special equipment lol? Is a jar special equipment? That's all I ever heard someone use. What are you referring to that was so complicated before you saw this video exactly? I cannot even imagine what your answer could be. Did you need a video to tell you that you could buy pre-ground beans? Are you that internet dependent??? The video did also point out it's a convenience to do so but left out it's an inferior product as beans stale quickly once ground. Anyway please tell me what it is that is so complicated about grinding some beans and putting em in a jar of water for 14 hours?? What else was it you thought need be done?
Ha me too I’m glad I found this video!!!
FINALLY, someone explains this and makes it easy! Thank you!
Best cold brew coffee video I’ve seen so far. Great job!
I had watched it last summer and searching it for this summer.. Great and easy way... Thanks for sharing
This is the best video on the cold brew method. Thanks!
thank you ☺️
Just made it. Excited to try it
Nice! I’ve been making my cold brew this way for years. And I have the exact same pitcher from IKEA too haha. A quick tip for you guys: I just brew it on the countertop away from the sun or inside a cabinet. I think it produces a stronger better coffee. Also. I just use a good old’ mesh strainer lined with a coffee filter and put that over the pitcher. Easy peasy.
Definely will try your recipe. It's seem really easy dont need to many equipment. Thank you for sharing your recipes. Love your content
It is a great video thanks for the great information and well delivered. This is exactly what I was looking for.
youre the best!!! made it so easy for everyone who doesnt have all those fancy equipments!! subscribed
glad it could help you!

I've been wanting to make cold brew at home since before lockdown and I literally couldn't find a video that didn't require me buying some type of equipment I didn't have, thank you I'll make some today finally!!
So glad you found my video then. Let me know how you like it!
Wow, finally make to easy cold brew, thanks bro 👍🏼
I am just really excited to try this!! Can’t thank you enough !!😄😎 I just recently started real enjoying get into iced coffee or as people say… cold brew. The iced coffee maker I have I like it okay and it makes right away so don’t have to wait but just the other day something happened to my charge cord so now I can not charge it . Been trying to dec what I’m going to do now. I think you just saved me stress and money😂 thanks and I hope you have a blessed day. Oh, also thank you for the tip about a sweetener. I have just been using sugar and flavored syrups.
I can’t wait to try this! Thanks for teaching !
It will be great! enjoy.
Yseni you have made the easiest recipes so far, I have gone threw about 100 videos on the cold brew ice coffee and out of them all so far yours is the easiest by far, for someone like me with just a regular coffee machine and a French press this is easy to make when getting ready to leave home for the day thank you.
That is what inspired me to make this video to be honest. Household tools to make great drinks.
Finally I found a video with a simple and easy explanation of cold Brew👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Glad it could help :)
Your presentation was amazing!

Just started a pitcher. Thanks for the easy recipe

Just made some more yesterday, filtered today, just as good as when I made it for the first time. Enjoy!
Nice job!
Thank you for this!!!
You are a God send! Thank you so much!
youre welcome!
Quick and simple, thank you. 👍
You're welcome!
Ok.. Well i need to say this... This was so aesthetically pleasing that i couldn't help liking the video and the quality and everything
Thank you so much. Glad it could help you. Subs appreciated ☺️
If you want to skip the filtering step, buy a carafe with a wide base and narrow neck and decant from it. I actually got a glass vase at the Goodwill that was the right shape and bought a rubber cork to fit it. Cost about $5 all told.
Ok.. this is exactly what I was looking for! Something that didn't require me to have a French press and coffee grinder. My coffee maker, which makes awesome hot coffee, has a built in grinder. So I didn't want to go buy a new unattached one. And I don't own a French press either. So this was a life saver!
I think you'd still need a coffee grinder!
Wow...yes use the filter from my coffee machine to filter the cold brew! Duh! What a smart idea. Thank you!
I had been looking at the Cold Brew Coffee Makers but I am now going to do it like you do and then pour it through the coffee filter on my electric coffee maker and let it go through to the pot without turning it on ....Yessss
that’s perfect!
Beautiful 👏👏👏
Love it !!! I'm going to try it out so easy and I don't have to buy more stuff already have toooo much stuff... Thankyou 💯
you’re welcome!
This is awesome! So underrated video though.
As a small creator it’s nice to hear that. Thanks for the feedback! If you want to support please sub ☺️
Looks so good
Thanks! Check out my matcha video too you might like it.
I'm new to coffee world but yeah I've been searching for cold brew recipes for a few days and your video just popped up, thank you for the video
I liked you channel keep going
It’s a very easy recipe to follow and it should be great for you. I’ll be making many more coffee videos, please subscribe if you would like ☺️
awesome! very easy to follow, thanks
NP enjoy ☺️
Simple yet effective.
yesir
Thank you! 🥤
Heavy whipping cream makes this the best for me! Thanks for the easy tutorial for a new 58 yr old cold brew drinker!
Haha you’re welcome enjoy!
Cream just tastes better than milk or half and half. Especially for coffee. If you are in the US though, try and get real cream, rather than the fake cream, which is milk with gum and a bit of cream in, commonly sold as cream in US grocery stores.
Thank you for this nice video! I just made my first one in a little jar now I'm gonna wait 12/18hs 🙌🏻💞🇧🇷❣️
Enjoy!
This video should have wayyy more likes than it does :(
thanks for this!
Haha thank you. UA-cam really is a game of patience. ☺️ Hope you enjoy.
Nice. Much better than the other channel.
thank you ☺️
Great video! Thank you! ☺
thank you ☺️
You saved my life bro. I never have to buy another 5 dollar iced coffee again. This coffee to water ratio is perfect.
Haha thanks bro. It really is a great recipe and easy to make. Hope you enjoy!
Excellent video❤️
thank you bruv
Top Video!
that is some good looking cold brew :) and i love the style of this video. i’ve been drinking my cold brew with lidl brand original and vanilla soymilks and it’s pretty good. if you ever get bored of whole milk or cream, you should give soymilk a try :)
Haven’t tried soy but I’ve tried almond and oat. Thanks for watching though. I’ll have more coffee videos :)
@@xhynetuseinovski no problem! looking forward to them :)
great shots
thank you 🙏🏻
This is awesome
Try it yourself you’re going to love it.
Lifesaver thank you
Absolutely! Enjoy.
I don't have a good device to drain the coffee ground out. My regular coffee can't drain the way yours does. Looks so easy! Just pour and wait.
I bought a cold brew device but there's still quite a bit of ground in the drink even with coarse ground. It's inevitable to drain it through paper filter. I have played with 1 to 3 ratio, 1 to 4 ratio and so far I agree with you that 1 to 6 ratio is the best. cold brew just produces too much caffeine. I may just brew for 12 hours to reduce caffeine but I am afraid the taste won't be strong?
Nice explanation 👌
thank you :)
nice recipe
Great video brother. i am starting a local coffee shop in Africa Uganda. this video helps.
glad it can help ☺️
Thanks for sharing.
you’re welcome 🙏🏻
Thanks !!
August 22
Seems pretty simple. Thank you.
It really is!
enjoy bro ☕💞
I want that pitcher you have that you steeped the coffee in. I never was a purist in the sense it has to be coarse coffee even regular drip grind makes it well.
It’s from ikea! Cheap and nice quality. Yeah the drip works perfectly ☺️
Wow look so tasty 😋
WoW Thanks
Great video! Well shot and concise. Made myself a batch today and can't wait to pour it tomorrow. Just one thing though: do you dilute the cold brew concentrate with more water? Or is that preference?
If you followed this one exactly, it comes out just right with no dilution needed. Just add your favorite creamer or milk or just drink as is ☺️ You could always double or triple the coffee content and it should make a concentrate.
@@xhynetuseinovski Or you could make ice cubes out of the same cold brew. That's what I do.
Great experience...thanks u..
Always welcome
i have 2 cold brew pitchers from Primula, off amazon. I like them. they come with the mesh strainer inside. so you just pull it out and dump the grounds. it's convenient but I wonder if this method where the grounds can move around freely makes the coffee tastes better.
Dude I love your video styles and this helped me a lot. One rather unimportant idea I have for you would be to not turn down the music as much when talking, Or to fade out the music when starting to talk, because it was a little jarring. (Don’t need to take heed it was just something I noticed, also this is just me being a music guy)
Yes bro thank you. I’ve gotten this feedback before and tbh I was a complete noob at audio at the time. Checkout my recent Cali videos and let me know if you think that is better.
thank you for not including a scale!
Might want to try switching pitchers from the start.
Really heplfulll
Enjoy!
for how long the iced coffee is in the fridge? or doesn't it go bad? ty for sharing the video :)
I love your petunias next to the outdoor table
I thought this would hella complicated and take forever lol but I guess this is easy. That means coffee makers are very simple machines.
Man, I tried this as it is way to hot for warm coffee lately and its so good. Also don't throw your grounds into the sink it might clog ! lol
enjoy!
Look so yummy
it is hah
To save some extra time our microdose of sustanaible coffee works perfect on the go! 😊
Send one over :)
Where did you get that second pitched with the strainer and stuff
Great ideas to avoid special tools...
perhaps you can make it without them then. enjoy.
For how long can we use it once made? Like after pouring it in a different container?
hello, just asking how long can u store the cold brew after being filtered?
espresso shot, some cyrup, stir, then ice, milk and finish off with some cream
That's how cold brew is done. What's this "special equipment" people are said to use?
Beautiful video, by the way. Lighting really is everything.
🙏🏻
Thank you for explaining it so clearly!
For how long can I keep the brew?
Google says about a week lol
@@xhynetuseinovski I see! Thanks for the quick reply :D
1 cup measure is equal to how many tablespoons. Can you write it down so we can make better coffee? thanks for the recipe.
I like to had some cream liquor to add a little texture
