I found this over a month after the Kickstarter ended. It's very funny to see, because Adam wasn't sure he was even going to have a Kickstarter yet. Little did he know that he would have the most funded board game on KS. *grin* I actually laughed when he said things like 'it may not be realistic to give people 'everything'. I, for one, am super happy with my Satan's Lantern pledge ;)
I was seriously bummed to discover I had missed the second Kickstarter. Guess I'll have to cross my fingers and hope for a Kingdom Death: Monster 2.0 KS...and that I have the spare 3 grand or so I'll need to get everything.
Poots has indicated that with the excess funds generated from the kickstarter, he has suggested that retail editions of the game may be produced. fulfilling the kickstarter pledges is a priority, but Im definitely hanging on a possible retail release either later this year or next year

give me your pledge please... i missed the KS entirely and with 12mil i think the hype train is long long ahead of me by now... wave 2 shipping this month im really fucking hoping there is enough stock to supply the website for a reasonable amount of time after pledge fulfillments are done :(

As of posting this it has 17 days left and the pledges cover both "update pledges" to get from the base game (if you already have it) into the updated rules and anything ranging from just the base game to the base game and all old or new expansions and the capacity to pretty much add anything to your pledge.
$250 to get into the base game which provides months of gaming time without a need for expansions!
Great interview. I'm new in tabletop board game and this game looks amazing. Hope there will be mega pack (core game + 1st set expansion + 2nd set expansion) as Adam said in the interview. I need to get ready my wallet tho...

I think that the KS is a good idea rather than simply putting more stock on his website and hoping it will clear, that way he can do one big order and get cost savings with both the plastic and paper manufacturer. Mr. Poots I will snap it up on Black Friday with my finger on the trigger ! This game is for connoisseurs.
I just discovered this game today and I am stoked! Too bad its sold out and I'm in Europe :(
Oliver Jensen there is a new kickstarter campaign up and running right now. It's the 1.5 version with several upgrades and you can get it for 250 dollars, or 200 if you stalk the campaign and snag a black Friday pledge.
