You're very welcome. Where are you in your journey?
I’m majoring in psychology as I plan on become an adult child & adolescent psychiatrist and going the community college path.
Me too. I'd love to connect with yoy
@Dr. pinesett, I love your helpful content. What is your advice on someone going from community college to applying to medical school. Is it recommended or do you go straight into post Bacc? Considering community college
Such a great question, Genesis! This is a great timeline to follow. I'm transferring from cc and was anxious on when I need to take the mcat since I haven't finished the pre reqs
Hey may I know which CC did u went
@@manishagope5046 DCCC outside of Philly
can I take the prequistes in community college?
Where have you been Dr Pinesett? I’m applying to medical school this June 1st and studying for the MCAT. I need your help. You are MIA
Wow amazing points
Glad you enjoyed it. Which point did you think was most valuable and will change how you do things going forward?
@@PremedProductivity first, the application process intentionally taking that Gap year, i like how you don’t listen to the TYPICAL timeline. And the tracking as many classes as possible to get the best foundation and understanding never ever thought of that.!!
Should I major in psychology I’m community college or just focus on med school pre-reqs and additional units? Is it possible to transfer to university without associates degree?
Do you still help aspiring doctors from community college? I have a 3.5 gpa honor student in cc graduating this Winter. I want to transfer out and apply to medical school
Do you recommend any specific books
In psychology *
@@macymanboadh3562 Yes, you'll see it in the MCAT course! Also, side note, your Ask Dr. Pinesett is coming up next week!!!!!
I didn't reach that part yet then. Been swamped with this semester. But I will definitely get to it. Thank you
