If we are both at fault then none of us our at fault. This is why they always have some stupid reasons for why they are mad when you are mad. It's not what you said but how you said it is one of the dumb reasons they say. They always require you apologize first before they do even if you did nothing wrong

But, what you're describing is an abuse tactic and I know we often don't want to say that men can be abused but they totally can be and this is an emotional abuse tactic. If you're with somebody who regularly behaves like this, over and over again, you should get the f*** out like they're not going to change even if you maintain that boundary, which you should.
