Keep going! Check out the next lesson and practice what you’re learning: www.khanacadem... Idea behind hypothesis testing. Null and alternative hypotheses.
Sooo I'm in 9th grade, and this is probably included in our research class (which I clearly didn't pay attention) but it's all clear now, keep making these!
Question: Using your sample problem. Suppose we rejected the null. That means with yellow background, people spend time that is not equal to 20 minutes. How will I know if they spend more time or less time? Thank you!
Can this really follow a normal distribution? The amount of time spent on the website can theoretically approach someone’s entire lifetime in minutes, while it cannot go below zero (you cannot spend negative time on the website) Hence, skewness >0, and does not follow normal distribution..?
Where is the part 2 of this.. this is interesting and I want to listen to it now. I want to hear this than to read my modules because it is so hard to understand especially you are not taught by your teacher.
I dont understand if the probability of getting the mean as 30 min is very low or equal to threshold then it means that probability of getting mean value of 20 min is high so why reject null. I believe its the opposite of what you said. We accept alternative only when the probability of getting mean as 30 min is high. Please explain if i am incorrect.

Thanks! It's great to see a fresh video on this despite the fact you've covered it in the past. Bless u.
