Oh Alex ! Don't make me more homesick than I already am. Thankfully only a few days left before we return for our winter stay. And Pretty Bay was my (German) mother's most favourite bay. Thanks for taking me on memory lane.
It is a great joy to watch someone living in a place they love, upbeat, positive and productive! So far I have found 3 people representing their land in a similar manner...You here in Malta, one in Naphlio Greece, and one in Pico Azores. It is a good way to truly see and learn more about the places.
Hi Alex, I have been watching your videos for quite some time; my mother was born in Sliema, and I have a very large family living there, I have just acquired my maltase passport, so I have now dual citizenship I am from the UK and now I can buy a property, as a second home in Birgu (Vittoriosa )overlooking the Marina, Malta has a lot of Historical places for examples, Ggantija, Hagar Qim, Hal Saflieni Hypogeum which dates back TO 4000BC which may be of some interest to your viewers, keep up your beautiful videos, I look forward to seeing them.
Hi , I am Maltese and have a maltese Passport but live in the UK my son have a British passport can I get him a maltese Passport as he is Half maltese I'm wondering how long it would take and how much it will cost. Or is it just a normal cost?
@@susie5668 , Hi susie5668, I got my Maltese passport, from Malta, and yes my mother is Maltese and my father British and still alive, which made the process much quicker, so you need to go to the Agenzija Komunita Malta, which is in the old school hospital in Valetta and pick up the form (Dual Enquiry Form) not open on a Wednesday, I had my Maltese cousins to help, It took me 18 months to obtain my citizenship then you register your birth in marsa, then you can get your passport.
Love watching your videos always Alex, Im Maltese, living & working in London, Im from Zabbar, keep going as your going, I love that you love our mother land Malta 🇲🇰🇲🇹
I love your videos Alex. I love how genuine you are. I shared your video on what you can do in a day for 10 euros with my children to show them what is possible. Thank you. My father was born in Birkirkara and came to Australia with his family in his early 20s and had 9 children with my mother. Sadly he died of a brain tumor before his 38th birthday.
The waters fine, the people wonderful and even with the Freeport it is one of the better beaches. It's also generally tourist free. Those that visit Birzebbuga are generally visitors who like the real malta or are revisiting regularly like myself. i look forward to your videos just to keep me in touch in between visits.
I used to go Birżebbuġa with my nana lucy and auntie elise when we came over to visit have amazingly fond memories of this beach. keep up the great work alex many thanks Chris
Hi Alex, I really enjoy your walking videos so please keep them coming! I live in Australia but was born in Floriana and grew up mostly in Tarxien before my parents decided to emigrate in the late 60s. Cheers and thanks for your many informative and enjoyable videos.
Hi Alex I love this “Walking Tour” format I look forward to more in the future I enjoy your company and the sights Pretty bay is much prettier than I remember it from back in the day The weather looks lovely Love, Hugs and Peace
Thank you so much for this beautiful comment❤️i do this videos for all of you to enjoy and im glad you do! Is there any area in particular you want me to go to ?
My opinion is that these walking and your talking vidz r cool, but the best are when u get out nn about & chat to pol: holiday makers, tourists, ppl that moved there BUT ESPECIALLY THE LOCALS. Not only are these the most entertaining, but they truly give us the best feel and experience of beautiful Malta. Nice if u could go to Gozo too and talk to the locals and tourists there; especially the youth 🙏
Hello Alex! Love your very informative videos. Not only people from Canada or US watch your videos, but from Mexico as well. So, greetings from Mexico and I hope you can come to visit our beautiful country and enjoy our beautiful beaches and of course, our food.
I was not born in Malta, I'm from Colombia, but I think that Malta is a wonderful island, I was happy there, I could not get a work permit and I had to go back to my country, I feel proud to be Colombian, but latin people have many restrictions, I feel so sad, because I would like to be free. Great video. I like listening to your perfect English.
Hi Alex. Thanks for the live stream of pretty bay. That was nice. Thanks for mentioning me from Canada, where I visited my hometown, Malta, this summer. I was born in Tarxien.
Wow! Absolutely loved this video, definitely gonna visit Birżebbuġa when I come to visit Malta next month. The plan is to visit the whole of Malta and Gozo too ❤
Hi Alex! Love the walking videos mixed in with your regular content. You are adorable. But I also like it when you interview people and comment on topics of interest to expats.❤
Congratulation for your excellent videos. I really appreciate it. I probably go in December Here, fron ouro preto mg brazil ...a old beautiful portuguese arcteturure city too😊
Love your video's. Keep them going. We are coming over at the end of March 25 for 10 days. This will be our 1st Visit to Malta. You are giving us lots of ideas of places to visit, eat & drink. Thank you 🙏 We are staying in Sliema, near the outdoor pool. We can't wait ❤
Bongu Alex 👋😄 thank you for the walking tour of Pretty Bay. I was in Malta 🇲🇹 last year and Pretty Bay was my favorite beach. The fish & chips at Borda's are delicious! 😋 My parents are from Bormla, and I was born (and live) in Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 Have a terrific day 😊
Thanks Alex! Don’t stop making videos ☝️ It was nice to see this area, we were here at the middle of the summer ☺️ Can you make a video about the Royal Malta golf club? Who plays there? 🫶
By the way both my parents are Maltese and I was born in Sydney, Australia. My parents are both from Hamrun but mum's side of her family are also from Valletta.
Hi Alex. My husband has a Maltese passport, he is British but was born in Malta due to his father being in the navy. We are hoping to move to Malta in a couple of years, when we will have enough money to retire comfortably. Would you recommend buying or renting, and where? We recently visited Valletta, on a cruise, and hoping to go back next year to try and work out where we fancy living but currently have no idea.😊
We have just returned from a holiday in Malta and have some questions that you might be able to answer. 1. we have taken the north and south bus trips around the island but have never seen any cows or livestock. Are the chickens at Balluta Bay wild or do they belong to anybody?
12-10-2024. A Thank you to Alex form me. Please make a walk Paula band club and squire and the school of fine art , plus the highest point in Malta. I was made in B, Buga, born in St Luke's. We don't want to see your mug toooo much like the fake English man in Malta, more slow panoramic shots.Be a good boy say hello to everybody for me, @ 0:00 the optically leaning building in the left is my design from 1990. 😊
Hey guys, I had to resort to Reddit cause i don't know anyone from Malta. So, basically we have an event in Portuga where we are going to receive people from some countries, Malta included. We are trying to make some stickers for a party, each one from a country, containing a pickup line/ funny sentence from each country translated into English (that only the people from the country can understand and maybe explain it to others as an ice breaker). I got in charge of doing the Malta's one, and I can't find anyone from the country to help (and google hasn't been that useful either). Can anyone help, please? I just need one I have till the end of the day. Thank you so much
Live videos are OK but the portrait mode is annoying. You'd think in this day & age they can come up with something to allow landscape mode. Anyway, I much prefer this type of video. More informative and relaxing.

Hi Alex You’re near St. Michael Street where I was born. Hugs from Canada
Just go to every town amd have you done one talking about the local cuisine?
Those little trees on the side of the road must be olive trees, right?
